I am finishing up Harlem Shuffle and Hello Beautiful. After that I plan on tarting The Thursday Night Murder Club.
Good afternoon... I've begun the month with a couple in progress: That was Now, This is Then by Williamson, Play Dead by Mason &Stephens, The Women of Chateau Lafayette by Dray, and Rook by Cameron.Of course, if a hold comes in from the library, or a new release I've been waiting for appears on the shelves before I finish these, they might be set aside... Again...
I'm listening to Little Big Man, which I'm enjoying more than I thought I would, and reading The Woman They Could Not Silence: One Woman, Her Incredible Fight for Freedom, and the Men Who Tried to Make Her Disappear by Kate Moore. The latter is of local interest to me, because she was confined to the Illinois State Hospital in Jacksonville, which is less than an hour from where I live.
I started the month by finishing 4 books. So I am starting fresh now. The first book I will read will be Where the Desert Meets the Sea. Not sure what audio book I will start next.
I'm starting off the new month with Annie Freeman's Fabulous Traveling Funeral.And...the joke's on me as I've just shelved this one as a dnf halfway through.
Reading The Hornet's Nest by Jimmy Carter about the Revolutionary war, and also Dial A for Aunties by Jesse Sutanto
I’m starting April with Shadowmarch by Tad Williams. On tap will also be Children of Time by Adrian Tchaikovsky (as well as books 2 & 3 in that series), and Oryx and Crake by Margaret Atwood. Other than that? Not sure yet.
Currently in the middle of The Orphan Collector but will be followed by Don't Go & The Hummingbirds' Gift: Wonder, Beauty, and Renewal on Wings
I just finished Finlay Donovan Knocks 'Em Dead and I'm going to start both In the Woods and Tokyo Ever After
I'm bringing over two books from March: Bábel fiai and A fehér királyStrating this month with Mézga Aladár különös kalandjai to kick off with an April's Fool feeling, and I'm also planning to read Vesztegzár a Grand Hotelben for another book club.
I'm reading The Invincible Miss Cust by Penny Haw for an I book (though I found it on 52 under works with animals!); plus Sparkling Cyanide by Agatha Christie, The Waters of Eternal Youth by Donna Leon and So Shall You Reap by Donna Leon. Enjoy April y'all.
I'm reading All My Rage by Sabaa Tahir and Heart of the Sun Warrior by Sue Lynn Tan to start April (and one non-prompt-related book as well).

My first book of the month is Her Deadly Game by Robert Dugoni, then I will be reading Loyalty by Lisa Scottoline
Having just dnf'd Annie Freeman's Fabulous Traveling Funeral, I'm going to start Fredrik Backman's Anxious People
Cynthia wrote: "Michele wrote: "I'm listening to Little Big Man, which I'm enjoying more than I thought I would, and reading [book:The Woman They Could Not Silence: One Woman, Her Incredible Fight for..."Yeah, I'm about a third of the way through, and it's really good, but kind of hard to read at times, the things they had to go through.
Started the month by finishing a really great book "Secret Service Dogs" for #35 A Book I wanted to read last year. Now reading (audiobook) "1920: The Year That Made the Decade Roar" by Eric Burns for #10 Set in the roaring 20s. I'll also be reading (dead tree) "Warning: The Story of Cyclone Tracy" by Sophie Cunningham for #15 Set in Australia.
I'm reading Denizin Uzun Taçyaprağı by Isabel Allende. Next planning to read Lilith'in Dölü by Octavia E. Butler.
I am reading a few books at the same time right now lol.1) M is for Monster by Talia Dutton
2) Someday, Maybe by Onyi Nwabineli
3) It Came from the Closet: Queer Reflections on Horror by Joe Vallese
4) If You're Reading This, It's Too Late by Pseudonymous Bosch (this I am rereading the whole series)
I have read Hedeby: Vikingetidens internationale handelsby by Thorkild Ramskou for the prompt #21 A second-hand book.I have worked for years in a second-hand book shop, so much of my books are from there. This was bought online at QXL.dk from Denmark, and I sold it recently at Bookis.
