Have a problem you need help figuring out? Want to help someone figure out their's? That's here ♡

Storm The Tiny Hooman ~hiatus~ (asherbookreviews) Why do people vent to me when I am not in a good headspace and when I tell them they get very p!ssy with me. I wanna help but I literally can't

That is a very good question! I have the same issue.

What I'm doing to solve this is distancing myself from those people. I haven't actually texted anyone in a while and it has been incredibly reliving. If they text me, I do reply back, but I've literally been texted twice xD, so I don't have to do that often. It's given me more time to focus on me and my mental health! Let me know if that makes sense/helps!

Storm The Tiny Hooman ~hiatus~ (asherbookreviews) Its does. One of my friends on here was thinking about ODing and it took a lot out of me and I started to get b!tchy but I tried everything I could and nothing was working

I've had that before too. When I'm not in a good place mentally to hear other people's problems, I think it's best to kindly relate that to them. Then once I think I can, I'll contact them to be sure they're doing okay. And I think that this goes both ways tho- before venting to someone, ask if they’re in a good place themselves to listen/help.
Just my opinion on it- ♡

I'm sorry to hear your friend was going through that. I understand getting frustrated because you also had a lot going on. If they're on gr, you could invite them here maybe? But regardless, remember you have your boundaries too, and you also need to do what's best for you, even if that's distancing yourself from things for a while. ♡

I get that. It can be frustrating at times, but people may not know that you’re going thru a rough time atm. Maybe warning then would be better?

Storm The Tiny Hooman ~hiatus~ (asherbookreviews) I try warning them yet the proceed to vent to me

Then put yourself first - don't ghost them, just firmly explain that you can't listen/give advice right now. At least that's what I think, just do kindly what feels right ♥

Hey Sophia, ofc you can ask something if you're a mod! And idk if you're still asking since you took your comment off, but I'd recommend setting out your priorities, and knowing that you don't 'need' him. You don't need him to complete you, to make you feel like now you're worth something- you are your own person, and you're already worth so much more than you know. And if he adds value to your life, then by all means, keep him lol. But if he's taking value away from your life, then he's not worth it. And this could apply to a lot of people I think- we've all had some guy we just can't seem to forget about. And they're fun yes, but just don't get so caught up in him that you forget about yourself.♡

°. Stefana ☆ taylor's version ☆ (ravendy) yes girl! you don't need a guy to be happy. buy yourself that bouquet of flowers, that chocolate, love yourself because at the end of the day is just you and yourself.

message 20: by Maddie (new)

Maddie @bree
Oh my gosh, I am so sorry. Don't listen to her, you are GORGEOUS as you are! If you really want to lose weight, I can promise you, starving isn't the solution. Been there, tried that. Try going for walks in the morning and cutting out sugar and soda! But always remember, you truly are beautiful just the way you are!💜

message 21: by [deleted user] (new)

@bree, that's so awful! You are beutiful 💜

Shay #FreePalestine (shaythecoffeeaddict118) | 499 comments Mod
@Bree I agree with Maddie and Sophia, you are beautiful just the way you are. And I've tried that too, and it doesn't work. It's not the answer. I'm where I want to be (5' 5" and 114 lbs), but before I could get there, I had to accept myself. I had to realize that if I wanted to lose weight, I was going to do it for me, not for anyone else, and I was going to do it the healthy way. Only lose weight if YOU want to do it for YOU. Don't do it for anyone else. But first accept yourself as you are. And remember, you are beautiful.♥

I agree with literally everyone ahead of me Starving urself isnt the answer it just stresses ur metabolism and slows it down which causes you to gain more weight. Something that i feel like no one has pointed out tho is ur mom fat shaming u- thats toxic AF and meeds to be dealt with-. Ur own m shouldnt be fat shaming you she should be sayjng the same things we are- ur beautiful just the way you are-

Percy {F͓̽a͓̽i͓̽r͓̽y͓̽ B͓̽o͓̽y͓̽} | 38 comments Depends what she likes. If she’s more introverted make it quite. Take her to a beach/pond or even on a walk. Have flowers and just ask her. If she’s more extroverted, I’d do it at school or somewhere where more people would be. And I’d probably get her friends to be there. If you don’t know what to do for the sign or anything, try to be more unique. You can make a sign, but try to not to make it so overused. Obviously Pinterest is good, but girls appreciate it more when you put time and effort into it. Hope, this helps Noelle!

LJ | 17 comments I've been struggling lately feeling different. One minute i'm sad and depressed and don't wanna talk to anyone then one second later i'm fine and feel like i'm just over dramatic. Am I just mentally insane or something wrong with me or is this all normal and i'm being over dramatic?

Also I need advice if I should get new friends. Last week my friend hurt me really bad after play fighting on purpose (Was not meant as an accident or anything) and I got irritated but not mad. And she started acting like she was all cool and bragging about it while i'm sitting there bleeding and then she starts talking bad bout me in the school bathroom and even in the classroom WHILE I'M SITTING RIGHT THERE! But all my friends are taking her side! Am I in the wrong???
And then during the weekend another one of my friends told our whole entire friend group about the boy I liked when I told her DON'T TELL ANYONE, and she promised even did our best friend promise and then got mad at me when I got mad (NOT EVEN SUPER MAD) But it was really embarrassing. My friends are really judgmental and aren't... the nicest people

But they are good friends...in their own way, they just show it in their own unique way. Sometimes they stick up for me and even share food, or invite me to something... Even though I've invited me over one single time after a year of being friends! It still means something!

Cause they are self addicted brats who only care about their feelings. FLAT OUT. If you ever need to talk though I got you :)

I'm so sorry!
Some of my past friends I thought were 'good' friends, but not being friends with them anymore and looking back makes me realize they weren't. They made me unhappy, and friends are supposed to make you happy. Maybe try to calmly talk to your friends about it? Ik that can be scary, but it might be needed. And maybe tell them how much you do appreciate them. If you think they're good friends, I'm not gonna tell you to not be friends with them anymore, it's not like I know them at all. But if you let them know you really appreciate them inviting you over, sticking up for you, sharing stuff, etc. then you should tell them and try to smooth things out.
As for your moods, I've definitely had that before. Life is like that, No, you are not mentally insane and you are not being dramatic. Give yourself some time, some love, and some credit. You deserve it. <3

°. Stefana ☆ taylor's version ☆ (ravendy) @Loretta I did once buy flowers for myself on V-Day and they were blue and so cute

message 41: by Kacie (new)

Kacie sounds like your friends are having trouble respecting your boundaries. if they are hurting you in more than one way, I don't know that it matters as much when they're friends in their own unique way. friends should support and love you in all circumstances. If they don't help you be their best self while trying to be their best self, it might be an indicator that it's not a loving, supportive friendship. that's just my very honest opinion, take it or leave it. but I definitely understand the struggle of finding the right friends for you. so if you feel comfortable around them and have fun, then by all means be friends. but if you find yourself getting stepped on or your boundaries not being respected, at least talking to them frankly about your concerns might be a good idea

message 42: by Kacie (new)

Kacie as for your first comment, that happens to me too XD I don't think it's abnormal. I know that mindfulness techniques can really help as well as being active and eating and sleeping well can help your overall mental well-being

hey, i've been there. Their just really jealous of you, 100%. You're probably the sweetest, most nice person ever!

Advice: Get some new friends who would feel for you. Then if they want to be your friends again, its up to you.

There is a God out there who cares for you so much. And I do too. And so should you. Stop treating yourself like you don't matter. You are a person— a living human being, and you deserve better than to not take care of yourself. So drink some water, eat something healthy, motivate yourself, take a walk, wash your face, look in the mirror...Look in the mirror. Look at what you're 'insecure' about. What you like about yourself. And love yourself—all of yourself— equally. You are not unattractive, you are not ugly— you are perfect. ♥

Oh no! I would definitely say try and get yourself some new friends because that's not a joke. They're probably just jealous of you! If you feel comfortable, maybe talk to them and say that you don't like what they're doing. But whatever you do, don't give up or make yourself feel like you are worth anything less than you are <3
