There was a moment when Alyssa was alone in the alley behind Maria’s office with Douglas Forsythe, waiting on the FBI agent to join her. Did any silent bells go off for you at that time? Was he even a suspect for you at the time? Since nothing happened, did you consider eliminating him from being a suspect?

At first, I found it strange that he didn't take her then as he was my prime suspect. That said, it wasn't really a good time. It was out in the open during the day, and they were waiting for the FBI agent to come. As such, I did not eliminate him.

Besides, none of the other possibilities were even remotely close to the killer's POV.

Since I suspected everyone, yeah, bells were clanging for me in that scene. He took a backseat for me after that., but he was still a good suspect.

I just knew this was “the moment.” When it didn’t happen, I realized later that Douglas had a bigger plan with those two dead bodies in the building at the end of the alley. He stayed on my list but was wobbly for a minute.
