Sam believed that Alyssa was the target long before it became clear. What did he see that no one else seemed to?

Sam is a very perceptive person and his #1 priority, above the job, is Alyssa's safety. He just picked up that things were pointing at Alyssa, even though that was crazy.

That’s what I thought, too. Sam has exceptional skills when it comes to instinct and reading the tea leaves. Yes, he’s tuned into risks around Alyssa but he was assembling clues without picking a predetermined path. Everyone else was locked into thing Maria was the target. Sam remained fluid.
