Drace (dracenines) | 7860 comments Two recent editions of Debord's The Society of the Spectacle have issues that need to be taken care of.

Paperback Edition: The Society of the Spectacle (ISBN 9781922491282)

- The description is badly formatted and contains praise quotes, which aren't supposed to go in Goodreads descriptions. Copy/pasting from Amazon with praise quotes removed, the description should read as follows:

First published in 1967, Guy Debord's stinging revolutionary critique of contemporary society, The Society of the Spectacle has since acquired a cult status. The Das Kapital of the 20th century. An essential text, and the main theoretical work of the Situationists. Few works of political and cultural theory have been as enduringly provocative. From its publication amid the social upheavals of the 1960's up to the present, the volatile theses of this book have decisively transformed debates on the shape of modernity, capitalism, and everyday life.

- The page count is 128, not 119.

===

Kindle Edition: The Society of the Spectacle (ASIN B093Y1ZNK8)

- The description is incorrect. It should be the same as the above paperback description.

- The publisher is missing. It was published by Critical Editions.

- The page count is missing. It has 91 pages.

- Ken Knabb needs to be added with the Translator role.

Thanks to anyone who can help with this.
