I read this book earlier this year as it was on my Kindle for a few years and I never got around to it. Well, seeing that I am currently working on a western I thought I'd finally give it a read.
It's a very well-written book. The main character is outgoing and your friendly type of native but also has a great mystery to him. It reads at a very quick pace as the chapters tend to be a few pages and hardly any over 12. The Crowman as he's called is a man who I found very reminiscent to Pumpkinhead for those who have seen the film. Overall, a great weird western and great start to a series.
