GAH! This is one of my favorite books! I can't wait to hear everyone's thoughts :D

I can't wait to read this again! I absolutely LOVE this series! In fact, Cinder is the first audiobook that I listened to and absolutely love the narrator. She's why I still listen to audiobooks to this day!

Her name is Rebecca Soler! One of the best narrators I've listened to and I've listened to well over 250 audiobooks over the last 4 years! lol

ooh she's pretty good! my favorite is def Steve West and then Fiona Hardingham. but Rebecca Soler is probably third

Wow, that is very impressive! I'll make sure to check her out. I know my sister listened to Cinder's audiobook, so I was wondering if it was the same as the one you listened to. :)

I liked it. It wasn’t the best ever, but not the worse. It was pretty predictable. And I liked Kai! Tho I’d say middle for me too

It might be a spoiler, but what is the "forbidden attraction" in the book? And, is it presented in a positive, neutral, or negative manner?
As one of my English professors pointed out, there's often a political undercurrent in science fiction stories; they tend to bring up/discuss particular, and often controversial, facets of society.

I would generally agree with this! I would even say, at least in part, that it's the role of science fiction to present itself as a societal, technological, and political warning.

I don't really have an opinion. I'm not the swooning type, but I think he's nice, so far.
