Merit finally takes a stand with Ethan about their relationship and turns it around. Might she have had similar results in the past if she'd done this earlier?

Ethan has definitely grown and changed as a character. He's not as stubborn and intractable as he used to be (probably as a result of Merit standing up to him in the past) so he is more willing to listen to reason. Merit may not have been as successful with her tactics earlier.

Sorry about that...I do that often, mixing Merit's and Mallory's names. I've corrected.

Those M names are easy to confuse - there's Morgan as well :0)

For some reason I've always mixed just these two. It might be because I thought the name Mallory better suited Merit.

I agree, Lauren. Ethan's character has really evolved over the series and I too think it's laregly thanks to Merit. I'm not sure that he would've responded to this tactic earlier.

I still have to say though it was spectacularly simplistic in nature. Linsey suggests she kick his butt, Merit walks out of the room does just that and then poof! it's resolved. I don't know. I was very relieved that the silliness was over though so in the end I guess I dont really care how it came about.

That Lindsey is a genius! I really love the Cadogen vampires. After Ethan and Merit's relationship, the camaraderie in the house is my favorite aspect of the series.

I really enjoy the Cadogen vampires too! I think in general for me the characters so far have been the main draw (more than the storyline). Really right down to the shifters, Catcher and the RG characters. I love them all!
