Your overall thoughts about the story? Any other observations/special moments?

This was a really good installment and I'm totally hooked on the series.

I enjoyed this a lot! There was lots going on and Merit seems to be coming into her own. Ethan drove me nutty again but he seems to finally be truly understanding Merit's gifts.

For all my complaining (sorry about that!), I really did enjoy this book quite a bit. I was really busy and couldn't find time to read but the story was constantly on my mind.

One part I really enjoyed was when Merit was trapped by Dominic and Morgan contacted her. I loved seeing all of those different people work together to save Merit. She's constantly risking herself for them and I enjoyed watching Ethan, Morgan, Catcher, Jeff, Jonah and Paige working for her.

That was a great scene, Erin!

Morgan is in such a deep hole with me and earned a couple of rungs here. For once he thought about someone else for a change. It was a riveting scene.

Again for the life of me I couldn't remember why I wasn't supposed to like Morgan. Lol! I remember there was a reason but my memory sucks!

Huh. I wonder why I didn't participate in the Hard Bitten discussion. Odd. Maybe I read it at a different time than you guys or maybe I was just really ticked off by that ending and didn't want to talk about it. Lol!

That might have been during the time when work was demanding. I can't believe you would have deliberately missed at least ranting about it!
