I didn't see it as strange. Kim will do anything to get an advantage when looking for a killer. His analysis was right on. Years ago, I worked with a guy whose mother was a psychic in New Orleans. There was a bar that had a psychic once a week. When I told Lee about it, he told me many of the same tricks that Blake mentioned to Kim and Bryant. He also did a little trick similar to the one Blake did to Bryant.
In the early days, Kim had a habit of being dismissive about stuff she didn’t believe in. It just feels like she’s matured in this sense, to take it seriously even if she’s not a believer because it’s relevant to understand the psychology of the killer.
I found Blake’s analyses fascinating, never parsing these psychics the way he did.
Sharon, I’ve seen these same tactics employed in charismatic churches…plants in the audience and the preacher claims divine insight into a visitor.

Oh me too as far as churches. I looked for a good church for years after I became disillusioned with the Catholic Church. I found corruption and lies in most of them.
Yeah, it’s unfortunate how organized religion has been infiltrated by those who are “called” for secular reasons. My hometown church was taken over by a charlatan right before my mother died. She was organizing a “coup.” A church with an 80-year history, now a joke and the guy has taken all of their money. It’s disgusting.
