Forever Young Adult Book Club - Columbus, Ohio discussion

Hello, all! I find myself wondering how the first two weeks of March slipped by without getting anything set up for us. It's been a busy month! Since the rest of the month will be rather full, I was thinking we could do a combined meeting in April to discuss both I'll Be There and Guy in Real Life. Does anyone have spring break interfering with availability at any point in April?

I am not sure if we will go anywhere, but April 3-12 is our spring break.

I'm away March 26-30, but that's all. Probably won't have both books read by then but can do one and would still enjoy meeting/discussing.

Okay, let's aim for the 3rd week of April! Here's the Doodle link - for anyone just joining us, I use the Doodle polls to get an idea of which night works best for the most people. Just mark the dates that you are free. If you don't know yet, that's ok! I'll leave this up through the first week of April and then we'll make the plans. I am thinking of having us meet at 7:00 at the Starbucks at High and North Broadway again - I thought it worked out really well last time! But I'm also open to other suggestions.

Laura - sorry I didn't respond yet, I've been out of town. I will be leaving the poll open through the end of the first week of April so that people have time to check their availability and respond, and then we'll go ahead and pick a date after that!

Alrighty - based on the widest availability, let's meet on Sunday April 19th at the Starbucks at High and North Broadway in Clintonville! Hopefully that gives everyone some time to finish one or both books.

Really, it moved? I should pay more attention. I was in the area Saturday and I could have sworn it was there. If it hasn't moved I should be able to make it. I don't have reliable transportation at the moment but that's close enough for me to walk to, depending on the weather. If it has moved (more than a few blocks) I'll take a rain check until the next meeting. My car should be fixed by then. :)

I think it is at the corner of Torrence & High now. It is right next to Cover to Cover bookstore in what was the old 5/3 building.

Ohh okay. Well that's only a couple blocks away; it won't add much to my walk. Since I've already read Guy in Real Life, count me in. I'll try to get the other book read, too. :)
