Young moms have so many difficulties and disadvantages starting out with their babies. They can and should breastfeed and should be encouraged to do so. Breastfeeding offers nutritional advantages and health and economical advantages to the young mom. If she is old enough to carry a pregnancy to term, she will most likely be able to breastfeed.
