hey y'all i'm courtney. i love cats to death, but yesterday morning i witnessed my cat dying. :'( but enough of the sad stuff. just wanted to introduce myself
Courtney I am so sorry. My heart aches for you having been through that two years ago. The three I have now are older and I know they won't live forever but they did and do offer some comfort when their sister passed.
Oh Courtney, I'm so sorry. Losing furry loved ones can sometimes be harder than losing a human loved one. I can still cry thinking of my kitty Tinky. My thoughts and prayers are with you. xo T
Well this says talk about anything so I want to mention something that is cute to watch. I have three cats, Phil, Mary Kate and Ashley (If anyone remembers Full House that is where my daughter got the idea of naming my tuxedo twins Mary Kate and Ashley.) Ashley seems to really really love Phil. She climbs into his bed with him or curls up between his paws if he is just on my bed. She really nudges herself in there and sometimes it doesn't seem like Phil likes being disturbed. But he never complains. He gets her settled and then he grooms her. They look so cute together. Sometimes they play together on my bed, what I call King of the Mountain. They box with their paws up (Claws NOT extended) and try to back each other to fall off the bed. Nobody gets hurt as I think they anticipate the possibility of being knocked off. Often the "winner" jumps down from my bed and goes and licks the loser. I just noticed that now Mary Kate likes to lie between Phil's front paws.

I'm sure that all of us have some idea of what Courtney, must have felt at the time. I'm been in that situation a few times over the years, as we have always had a cat in the house. Eighteen months ago I lost my dog quite suddenly and I still miss her dreadfully.
Anyone who likes books about cats, here are 2 suggestions:The Cat Who Came in From the Cold Derek Longden
Paw Tracks in the Moonlight Denis O'Conner
