love how you started that XD honestly i havent thought a lot about ideas for him. but, if anything, since ive been making some rather unusual characters for me at least, ones im not used to making, ill probably make him like neville? if you remember what he was like at all. like hed love herbology, plants, be pretty shy but can be confident needed, and all that stuff. oh! and probably deeply in love with anything to do with care for magical creatures. actually then, probably a mix between neville and newt scamander.

why? did you have an idea?

(also, im working on a response for the great hall, would you be okay with a slight time skip? like they get their dinner and the sorting has already happened, etc.? just to move it along!)

well I was thinking my newest OC, Vera DeLille-Castor, ends up falling for a Hufflepuff (either halfblood or muggleborn) and since she’s like this flirtatious seemingly confident and careless pureplood from a wealthy family of status who’s against that sort of thing it would basically be a forbidden romance. she could pretty much fall head over heals and try to deny it because she’s never really been in love yk and then she wouldn’t really want to go against her family at first and would honestly be pretty scared because it would estrange her even more than she already is.

i thought so too! i love neville to bits and i really wish he was in the books and the movies more. and i feel like jk rowling never really played into how neville could bave been the one old moldymort was after instead of harry. and i love newt.

ohhh! i like this idea already! for a little bit more detailing now that im actually thinking about it, my little hufflepuff boy will most likely be a muggleborn, or at the very least at little to no knowledge about the wizarding world. i can just imagine him finding out about magical creatures like dragons, and just having this most adorable and amazing reaction. but honestly any kind of magic probably knocked his socks off. still probably does, even if he is a 7th year.

but yeah, went a little off the track there, but vera sounds lovely and i think it would be a cool plot to do :)

I KNOW RIGHT? just imagine it, it literally would have been so cool. not that i didnt like harry, there was very few characters i actualky hated or didnt like, but i dont know, it definitely could have been interesting.

of course! im always interested in doing a collab! and i almost always say yes, more so when i know the person and when i love their character!
yeah he is! im going to make up an idea list and put it in the workshop so that you can kind of see my thought process a little more :)

the possibilities are endless. and it would have made literally everything Harry did pointless along with a lot of what Voldemort and Dumbledore (or even Snape) did.

I love her too!! They seem like they would be good together. Well, I thought, obviously, they would have professional polite? background, like talking on occasion and then maybe when rio finally went to get into astronomy he came to her and helped him? we could rp that out just so there's that foundation. i guess that's not really history, besides the colleague aspect, but that's just what i was thinking lol

Anyone wanna collab I have an American professor for Transfigurations and a final year Slytherin.

do you have anything in mind?

I want someone to be on to the Transfigurations professor's past. All his European wizardry documentation is forged paperwork everything from his legal citizenship to his apparition license. He is also an unregistered animagus which is even regulated in America.

I was thinking about making an American professor, so maybe an old school friend? and she could be connected to his darker past, possibly even a fellow underground duelist?

oh and maybe she got the teaching job this year as part of tracking him down as bounty hunter of sorts, or to warn him

Okay so me just playing off your awesome ideas.

They attended the same school ended up in the same regions underground duelling league. Now as a friend and a bounty hunter she has tested her skills to the limits in tracking him before anyone else, but the entire time has still be questioning her own motives whether to bring him in for the reward or warn him of the dangers to come. Perhaps their friendship goes so far as her knowing that he is an unregistered animagus.

nice! I have a little info on her now, she’s from San Francisco and is part of a wizarding gang there that currently has the monopoly on the underground illegal activities in the city. which if she was tasked to bring him in by her boss then warning him would put herself in danger, hence the questioning. since he dealed in trafficking it could have been connected to the gang so her boss didn’t like him running off and breaking off their deal.

Sounds good which can give your character some internal conflict and make for a cery interesting school year should things turn violent.

I have a student who has an unnatural talent in the dark arts but hates that she does. she just entered 6th year and so was accepted into the class to try to get more control over it because it lashes out every once in a while. I was planning on her accepting her talent during rp, maybe Prof. Zagon could help with that?

Anyone i got a few characters just tell me what you are looking for

Hey Dovey would love to do a collab with Vera and Cain. Cain will probably be in his mid to late 20s. I see him guiding her as a mentor and a possible relation?

Vera has an aunt who’s 24 so maybe if you wanted to do a connection there, like they were close friends in school or something, what’s his blood status going to be? cuz if he’s a pureblood maybe it could be like a betrothal thing or if he’s muggleborn then it could be they couldn’t be together because of her family.
I’m totally going off with different characters, back to them lol.
You have any ideas?

Okay so here is a hard brainstorm of several ideas and Ill let you help come up with something out of all of it.

Cain Xylander born 1/8th Vampire, a Halfbreed/Halfblood, born to a muggleborn father and a halfbreed mother who was half-vampire. Twisted in a dark web by fate, Cain fell in love. Emiliya DeLille (if thats the aunt you were refering to) was from a prominent pureblood family. Their love was a secret from the family given he knew they were bound by blood purity status and would not accept the couple. The two seemed to have big dreams of running away together and getting married, but the time came that Cain proposed.
Like a gentleman he went to her home and asked for her hand in marriage. Instantly rejected he was crushed. He went on with the proposal anyway, but after telling his bride-to-be what he had done he was only left with a ring and the memory of a kiss. Cain could never face another relationship after learning blood was far more powerful a hold on someone than the heart. He truly believed he found his soulmate, but her leaving only proved he was never really meant to be happy with another person and he accepts that about his life almost has come to be at peace with it. His lover's sister being a coworker will only keep the wounds open while she is in sight.

But another approach as he is still a work in progress.
Cain is a Pureblood coming from a long line of Mediterranean Wandmakers and Xylomancers who study wandlore in depth. The family believed strictly in blood purity believing only a Pureblood was capable of procurring the finest of woods and cores to make the most exceptional magic. Of course, their prejudice is based in no form of actual fact. 🙄 however he was arranged to meet another family of the same status and upholding the same values. That family was the Delille's where he was suited with a woman close in his own age and surprisingly they got on together perfectly. The couple were arranged to marry only three months from their first encounter. Once he became a professor he is left without his expectig wife during the school term left with only love letters and her older sister to keep his dream of being back with her over winter break alive. He is stupidly in love, but while at the school he works on his obsession to be distracted from the fact he isn't with his pregnant wife.

I love both. So maybe we could combine the two, sort of. I like the muggleborn-halfbreed idea (heads up this is probably going to sound crazy lol) so maybe if we went with that but also kind of the other one. So several options.
What if he’s from a pure-blood family but his mother was a half-breed and the grandparents covered it up that their grandson was part vampire and set up for him and Emiliya to court in school and later they were engaged. Emiliya knew the truth of course and helped to hide his quarter vampire from her parents because she truly loved him and they were even set to marry (maybe say like 5 years ago so she would be 19) but then his blood status was revealed somehow and the wedding was canceled.
Or going off that idea, they ended up marrying but only because Emiliya was pregnant and it’s easier to cover up a son-in-laws slightly tainted blood than their daughter having a child out of wedlock. So they married but then she miscarried so it threw everything into chaos basically, she could be pregnant again hence the worry about it going smoothly this time.
Wait wait wait, spinning off in another direction. The original wedding got canceled, but she actually was pregnant and miscarried and her family forced her to stay away from him otherwise they would let the public know what he was therefore ruining his and his family’s reputation, not wanting to hurt them she did as they said. So after that he never learned the truth and had to assume it ended with the whole blood status thing and she went along with it like in your first idea. This way he could learn the truth, maybe through Vera or more likely to know would be her sister Karina, or I could even bring Emiliya in as a character because I was thinking about doing a special holidays folder with homes and diagon alley and whatnot during christmas time.
Or we could just go with one or the other.

however, a relationship would be more likely now that Emiliya’s father passed as his side was the one that would have disowned and not accepted that. the Drozdov side, her mother’s would probably be fine with it considering they’re more open minded and also based in Russia so being part vampire (which is a magical species) wouldn’t be that big of a deal. so I could see Roksana being fine with it now that her husband is gone. although he's been dead off some years so I could change the timeline a bit and have it where he died more recently or is actually still alive. it would probably be better for all my DeLille’s if it was a recent thing.

Born to a Pureblood father and a Halfbreed mother family covered it up. Fell for Emiliya got her pregnant. Her parents arranged marriage later discovering he was a quarter vampire. Like his family hers covered up any and all evidence of his blood status. Within that time she miscarried. Her damily was silent as they built a life together before finally acting. Breaking into the home basically forcing her to leave with them. He returned home with word of a position as a professor. He came home to empty closets and rooms. He sold the home moved, kept the job and hasn't heard from her since.

Dang now i want them together.
