How do you all feel about a Book Club made of Libyan members so we can read various books (English and Arabic) and meet monthly or every 2 months to discuss on zoom?

Good idea, I am supporting your idea, especially with Zoom we don't have any efforts to transport, the books to starting?do you have any suggestions?
I was thinking we can do a book per month, with each of us suggest a reading list on a rotation basis
I endorse the idea! it's a great way to expand our horizons.

Hi Shatha. Thanks for the suggestion. Its a good idea but requires a good number of people to contribute and make it interesting as we all live in different locations and time zones. Please share a plan if you have any and let’s see who can join. Best of luck

I have led a book club in the past, but we were all in the same place. Each month, a member suggests a book and we meet at the end of each month to discuss the book and rotate afterwards.
Hi Shatha, I live in Abu Dhabi. We have 11 hours difference.
Lets see where other lives and then we can agree on the way forward.
We can either meet through Zoom or Google meet.
based in Amsterdam, and it would be a GREAT idea…. i’ve been meaning to join a bookclub for a while now
so it seems we are all over the globe which may make meetings on zoom difficult.
perhaps we can do a virtual asynchronous book club?
Good idea. I live in France currently (UTC+2)
as in we each read on our own and just have some type of space to just write thoughts as we read?
so is this bookclub ever gonna see the light if day😭😭
