Look at this video (go about halfway through) where she talks about this book and My Life as a White Trash Zombie and how a lot of plot was borrowed (stolen) from White Trash. Really interesting. I'm going to watch it but if I were Diana Rowland, I'd sue.

The show looks really cute, and I definitely want to watch it. I did think it had a lot of similarities to White Trash Zombie based on the preview. I haven't read the comic book, though.

I agree, when I saw the previews I was thinking White Trash Zombie! (I love the books!!! Afraid they would ruin it as a TV show.) Very surprised to find out it was based on a comic, (I've not read, or heard of, but I don't read comics.)
Yesterday, I took a look at the comic, it and White Trash do have a few similarities, but so far the TV show looks to have more in common with White Trash and a dash of the comic. Time will tell.

Maybe if I'd read both, I'd be able to say yeah or nay...

But there were some funnies in the show, some 'that was just too stupid,' but overall it was entertaining. I'll leave it to record, but I won't watch it live, not with the commercials. There were A LOT of commercials. I might have been channel surfing if I had watched it live.

I sow the first episode and all I could think about was: dude, i read this i White Trash Zombie.

But there are also a lot of things that are different: the main character is highly educated and comes form an upper class family, she has a love interest (ex-love for now, I think), she shares sequences of life with the brain's owner, there's a sister...

Still, the show it's funny. So I will definitely watch it from now on.
