Sarah Cudlipp (sarah_jeanne17) Hi!

My name is Sarah Cudlipp and I own a website, Cape & Castle (capeandcastle.com). I read a lot, as much as I possibly can when I'm not at my full-time job as a chemical dependency counselor at an outpatient clinic. And I love to be a part of ARC communities. I am part of the influencer and review teams for Juno Rushdan, Gigi Meier, Kristin Lynn, Carolina Jax, Catherine Cowles, and Kate McWilliams. I am a NetGalley member along with Book Sirens. Romantic Suspense is my favorite genre, but I also love dystopian YA novels, with one of my favorites being the 'Divergent' series. You can find our website socials on Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook @capeandcastle! If anyone has an ARC that is YA dystopian romance, or romantic suspense they want to throw my way, I would love to read and review them on Amazon, Goodreads, Bookbub, and my site!

E.B. Roshan | 28 comments Hello Sarah,

If you enjoy Dystopian suspense (with a touch on of romance,) I think you’ll like For Better and Worse, my novella. It’s the fourth book in the ongoing Shards of Sevia series, but can be enjoyed as a standalone.

Here’s the link to the book on Goodreads:

If it looks interesting to you, send me an email at btznvntATgmailDOTcom and I’ll get you a copy.

I think you'll like it. It isn't YA, dystopian or romance directly but has elements of all three and more.

In the 25th century, most humans have died. Symbiont microorganisms colonising human hosts have extended the lifespans of survivors. Humans are functionally immortal. A world keen to avoid further population collapse guarantees the essentials of life to everyone, without exception.

Aaxyl and Aameh live in the welfare dormitories of a dome. Aaxyl raised the fragile Aameh from a young age, and all she wants is for them to be safe and independent. However, when Aameh connects a report of missing persons with a mysterious threat from Aaxyl’s past, her curiosity unravels secrets around an ancient event, and puts them in the crosshairs of the Whisperer.

As Aameh tries to solve the mystery and Aaxyl attempts to keep her safe, they find new allies, rare symbiont abilities and technological advances… and threats.
Will Aaxyl and Aameh succeed?
