Hidden within: The Leaves of Crimson by Brianna Hinson
Available on kindle unlimited.
She is the captor, and he is the captive. Definitely a slow burn, but close forced proximity. Him and her first person perspective. Enemies to lovers. I loved the back and forth banter between the characters. Dark twists and turns. Dire stakes. Low to medium fantasy. Easy to read world building. Crumbled society. Has a bit of everything.
