My first book for September was my back-up buddy pick for last month, and I loved it! The Last Unicorn by Peter S. Beagle with the dark blue and black cover. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

A Flicker in the Dark by Stacy Willingham
Miss Austen by Gill Hornby, the gorgeous blue cover with the embroidered design. The cover was designed and embroidered by Chloe Giordano, and I can't link to YT, but if you search for Embroidering the cover for 'Miss Austen' there's a wonderful video showing her creative process.
