Only chose this book because it fit for three challenges, was available on KU, is reasonably short and looked not too bad.
Just downloading it now. 👍🏻
Janeylou wrote: "I need this as a break from Skydive..i love dragons but that one is all sex and too much for me"Tbh, I'm really glad that Taya already read it for SH and I'm not allowed to read it also.
Janeylou wrote: "Im going to have to google this beead throwing in New Orleans ..not come across that before"Just wanted to ask you about those. 😂
Janeylou wrote: "Ive put myself down for bk 2 as well 😳😳, but if i skip the sex scenes ill have it done in 5 mins 😄"Yes, that author writes a lot of sex scenes in their books. I found that exciting when I started reading mm romance but now I'm happy with one or two good scenes in a book, more gets boring. Or I'm just getting old..... 😂😂😂
I read the prologue and first chapter. It's easy to follow, so far no problem that we started in the middle of the series.

....The actual colors of the beads hold more significance than the act of throwing them. Purple represents justice, Green symbolizes faith, and Gold exemplifies power...
apparently a staus symbol , but probably now its because they look pretty

Thanks for looking it up. It seems to be an old custom with meaning and thoughts on it.
Here they just throw candy from the carnival floats and foot groups on Rose Monday and Shrove Tuesday.
Do you guys have carnival parades too?
We have them in the summer for no particular reason and theres the PRIDE ones all over but we dont celebrate shrove tuesday other than pancakes at home
Finished chapter six. So far it's easy to read although I don't think that the author managed to get this all-consuming passion between alpha and omega they were supposed to feel on the page. This author really loves those hashtags. #️⃣ 😂 #️⃣
I have to get back to my onion cake. The yeast dough is ready to get rolled out and one and a half kilos of onions are waiting to get peeled and sliced....
#oniontears
Janeylou wrote: "I can see tears in your future 😭😭😭😄😄😄"Yeah, there might have been a drop or two of tears. Unfortunately not the emotional ones while reading an awesome story, but well, the cake smelled delicious when I took it out of the oven and now I'm back to reading. 😂📚👍🏻
Im on chapter 19 ..its very sweet & fluffy ..im presuming Kayson & Reid are one of the previous books , will have to check others
I'll definitely come back to the series when I can use it for a challenge. Did you see that Kayson and Reid are the MCs of book #2?
Yes, id read more as well , very sweet, if a bit predictable What did dissappoint was that J kept going on about his bucket list and at the end of the penultimate chapter it said 'Bucket list almost complete'
So i was expecting at the end of the book for it to say
'Bucket list completed'....but it didnt , that would have been so sweet .

Good morning ☕️☕️
Sorry Janeylou, I fell asleep last night.
I haven't thought of that but you are right, that would have been a really sweet end.
I found it was a bit of a shame that Brent was so insecure and that the communication (moving in together and J's job offers) between them wasn't that good.
Janeylou wrote: "Let me know when you want to start pancakes and corpses"I could start this afternoon, but only ever have a little time to read in between. More time to read longer at a stretch I have on Thursday until around 5 o'clock in the afternoon or then on the weekend.
We can leave till weekend if you want , not sure how far along Trio is ..will pop a message on main thread
I'm almost done with Mardi Gras Omega. It's a bit silly, but sweet and easy to read. I've never Tweeted in my life, so all the references to #'s are going way over my head. Is that how it works? If you post something on Twitter with a hashtag can somebody find you that way?
Ive never tweeted either Trio, it looks too complicated for me .I only know the basics for facebook 😄
I didn't like the inconsistencies I read - I'm a beta reader for several authors and that's the kind of thing we always are asked to catch, so I'm forever on the lookout when I'm reading. I can't help it.Knowing it was written by three authors, it really shows.
They need an editor, sorry to say.
