I'll probably do Howard's End, mentioned on Season 2 Episode 1 of Joan of Arcadia, unless something better comes up.
In Season 4 Episode 1 of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Buffy and Eddie (a very young Pedro Pascal) have an extended conversation about W. Somerset Maugham's Of Human Bondage.
In an episode of Doctor Who (Season4 episode 7 The Unicorn and the Wasp) there is a number of Agatha Christie novels mentioned: The Murder of Roger Ackroyd; Why Didn't They Ask Evans; The Body in the Library; The Secret Adversary; N or M?; Nemesis; Cat Among the Pigeons; Dead Man's Folly; They Do It With Mirrors; Appointment with Death; Cards on the Table; Sparkling Cyanide; Endless Night; Crooked House; Death in the Clouds; The Moving Finger; Taken at the Flood; Death Comes as the End; Murder on the Orient Express and The Murder at the Vicarage.

Technically... Good Morning America is a TV show, and so was Oprah at one time. So if they mentioned books, wouldn't that count?

So if they mentioned books, wouldn't that count?"You know what, I am trying to catch up on some of those old Oprah book club books and I think this will serve me just fine. Thanks for this reminder. I was wondering how I was gonna accomplish this one.
Here is a list of all the books mentioned in Gilmore Girls: https://bookriot.com/rory-gilmore-rea...

A tough challenge for me, because I don't watch TV, and see few films. But someone told me about The Gilmore Girls, so I picked Judy Blume's Deenie as something that got a mention on the show.
I read The Secret Adversary by Agatha Christie. Jeanne above says it was mentioned in Dr Who and I believe her
