The Robot Librarian's Reading Challenge discussion

It feels like there have been more and more books being turned into Netflix or Amazon series. Is this a good or a bad thing? You be the judge.

The Magicians by Lev Grossman, The Eye of the World (Wheel of Time) by Robert Jordan, The Sword of Shannara by Terry Brooks, The Screaming Staircase (Lockewood & Co.) by Jonathan Stroud.

If you want romance there's Red, White and Royal Blue by Casey McQuiston. Heartstoppers by Alice Oseman is an adorable graphic novel series.

Henning Mankell – Faceless Killers, the first book in his Wallender series that became a Beeb production starring Kenneth Branagh. If the book is as good as the TV series, then I will be chuffed to bits.

I read The Innocence of Father Brown by G.K. Chesterton - 3/16/24. This is the first book in the series that was adapted into the series Father Brown.

I read Daisy Jones and the Six, now streaming on Amazon

Now I wish I had Apple TV+ so I could see the adaptation after reading it.
