I finished my other one on my wat to work this morning ~ so I started this on my way home. Kenneth Branagh is narrating. I've made it to where they are in Egypt. It's a little hard to keep all the characters straight, lol.
I may relisten to some chapters.
Even reading the book it is hard to keep everyone straight. Christie typically introduces all of her characters in the first chapter. It helps that I saw the movie. I remember some of the characters. I like that she builds suspense with the introduction of each new character. By the end of chapter one, I knew who was going to die.
I love reading / watching Poirot books. When I was a kid, our area was late to cable TV. I used to watch the movies and TV series on Late Night TV with my mom.

I'm enjoying the narration. I'm pretty sure I know who is going to die.
I, for sure, want to watch the movie after I finish the book!
I've finished the audio today. Next time I will be reading instead of listening to a Hercule Poirot book. Way too much going on to listen while doing other things. I had to slow it down so I could catch everything and pay attention to all the players, lol.
Lots of different storylines going on in this. At the beginning of the book I thought for sure it was Lynette that was going to be killed - then when we hit Egypt I thought it might be Jackie that would be killed. Again, at first I thought I knew who would be doing the killing (view spoiler) and I had an idea why but then everyone else in the story muddies up the waters, lol. I was only half right by the end. (view spoiler)
Ms Christie writes fascinating mysteries with lots of interesting characters.
My favorite thing about Poirot is that he accuses everyone of committing the murder then at the end he zeros in on the actual murder. I like the twist. (view spoiler)
