      First I have to finish:

And I will finish Sex and Vanity and The Heiress tonight. I'm not even 10 pages into Pritty.
I'm reaching the end of Lower the Library (read digital owned) on Instagram and I seem to have more holds on non-owned books than owned books so I really want to find a bunch of available now audio of my e-books to cruise through next week. But I've got several due back over the next few days first!

I finished Cards on the Table last night and started The Tower of Nero. I am finishing Myrtle, Means, and Opportunity [this was MUCH more...gruesome??, anxiety-inducing?, heart-racing? than some "adult" mysteries I have read as of late. REALLY well-written] and then diving back into Rick Riordan [I may finish that today]. Tomorrow I will start Honey Roasted and Voices of the Dead even though I don't like two mysteries at once [maybe I can find a nice, shorter NF book to shove in between them? LOL].

      I have also added

to my current reads. I can't seem to settle! I'm now reading 5 books because I forgot about

that I'll be reading until Dec 31. lol

I made progress in all of my books yesterday lol:

 and I did finish

(which was bad ⭐⭐ I won't be reading the sequel).

I'm late to the party, but I have been reading a decent amount this weekend so I'll join in now!Friday-Saturday:
- listened to the last 2.5 hours of Echoes and Empires
- read the last bit of Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency
- started Legends & Lattes
Plans:
- finish Legends & Lattes
- continue reading Under Heaven and other books in progress
- read the audiobook The Taking of Jake Livingston
- after that, start the audiobook Harrow the Ninth
The Grace Year by Kim Liggett, 11/19/2023The Wind Knows My Name by Isabel Allende, 11/21/2023
The Giant's House by Elizabeth McCracken, 11/26/2023

I was super busy yesterday but did finish

 (started on Sunday) and read

. I started

 today and I'll be finishing

. I braved the grocery store this morning (not hosting Thanksgiving but providing mashed potatoes and needed regular groceries) and luckily it was early enough, 8:30am, that it wasn't too busy. The weather is supposed to be a crappy rainy mix tomorrow so I'm glad I won't be venturing out!

I finished [book:The Tower of Nero|48717744] [SO FREAKING GOOD - Rick Riordan is a national treasure] and Myrtle, Means, and Opportunity [This is one of the BEST children - middle grade historical fiction series I have ever read. SUCH smart writing. I loved every one of them and this one was the BEST!] as well as a one-day read of The Sound of a Wild Snail Eating, which was suprisingly a gorgeous, thought-provoking book that I totally loved [Snails. Who knew?].
I started Napoleon's Hemorrhoids: ... and Other Small Events That Changed History, Honey Roasted [which I finished today and did not enjoy at all] and Voices of the Dead [which has been an amazing read so far] and will be finishing both Napoleon and Voices today as well.
Tomorrow [we have no Thanksgiving plans thankfully] I will read Before We Say Goodbye, and Friday I will start The Eyre Affair and Seven-Year Witch.
I’m still not in much of a reading mood, but I gotta finish

before December, so that’s my priority for the rest of the week. Thankfully it’s not very long.

Whew it's been a a busy couple of days! Hope everyone who celebrated had a good Thanksgiving and everyone else had a good Thursday and Friday! My 11-year-old nephew slept over from Thurs-Sat so I haven't gotten a lot of reading done. I did finish

 and start

 but I'm still reading

. Hoping to get a lot of reading done the rest of today and tomorrow but we'll see!
