The Manga Squad discussion

The runner up for October's horror themed manga of the month is High Rise Invasion. Written by Tsuina Miura and illustrated by Takahiro Oba. High Rise Invasion began it's publication in 2013 and finished it's run after 21 volumes. There is also a 7 volume sequel series High Rise Invasion Arrive.

A 12 episode anime was released that covered about 12 volumes of the manga but is very condensed and skips a lot of content.

This sounds interesting. The design of the baddies faces kinda reminds me of Everything Is Fine webtoon

I watched the anime and followed along in the manga as I was watching it. it was actually very accurate and they only cut out a few things which didn't change or alter things at all really.
I really like it. the series is just totally my thing :)

Just finished volume 1 and really got a kick out of it. Frenetic, Sexy, and Violent. I dig it.

I have only just finished volume 1&2 I found the story good and it makes me want to know more about the world and how they got there and mostly who is controlling the masks?! this was also a really good manga to get me back into reading after a bit of a break. I'm going to pick up the next volumes.
