Firstly, I want to apologize for this very long delay in getting this month's round up- the first couple days of the month landed on my back to back doubles and I made the mistake of not getting this post up proactively.. luckily the wheel was VERY nice to us this month (no color doubles!) so I am confident you will all have more than enough time to complete the prompts.

Secondly, HAPPY SPOOKY SEASON!! The best time of year is upon us and I hope you all enjoy it! Here's to reading all the spooky and wicked books on your TBR 👻🎃🍁

Spin #1

🍁 Choose a book that has one of those covers with a bunch of random objects- I'm thinking of books like The Curator (UK edition) or even a book I'm reading right now called Wild and Crooked. This is a lot simpler than I'm making it sound but if you have any trouble please message me.

Spin #2

🍁 The "deck" I'm referencing is the same one I used for the TBR Game that we played last year and the card I chose: Read a hardcover. doesn't get much simpler than that!

Spin #3

🍁 Just choose a book that's following the POV of a male character. If you want to spin this as a male narrating an audiobook that works. If you choose a book with both male and female POV the audiobook should have solely a male narrator.

Spin #4

🍁 Assign numbers on a die with as many sides as you want and roll- if you don't have a die I suggest using a digital one.

There you go! Only four prompts this month and good ones for doubling up- I'm positive this is a round we can all win! Good Luck and I wish you the spookiest of reading 🕸🧛🏻‍♀️☠️

1. & 3. Random Objects & Male Narrator: Peaces (Currently Reading)
2. Card from the deck(Hardcover): Breathless (Finished)
3.Roll a die (historical fiction): Angelika Frankenstein Makes Her Match (Currently Reading)

Peaces by Helen Oyeyemi Breathless by Dean Koontz Angelika Frankenstein Makes Her Match by Sally Thorne

Counting this as a win since I'm more than halfway through the two books im currently reading!

Nat (waterfallz) | 657 comments I managed to finish 3/4 prompts! Reunions and Ruses was fantastic, it was a cute romance that I devoured. I was unable to finish my hardcover book for the second prompt. I listened to Night for the prompt of book with a male narrator, this was really good, but in the most horrible ways. And I rolled a die for classics and finished The Picture of Dorian Gray as planned, but also finished Frankenstein: The 1818 Text, which was a solid bonus. Honestly, this was one of the best reading months I've had in a while, and I'm glad I got to read as many good books this month as I did. I don't usually finish this many books in a month, and I usually don't like them all like I did for my books read this month.
