37 -- Palindrome On The Cover
I'm planning on reading Assistant to the Villian by Hannah Nicole Maehrer (Hannah being a palindrome)
Evil Eye by Etaf Rum is an excellent book that would work here. I read it this year or I'd use it for this category.
Denise wrote: "I'm tentatively thinking After Anna by Lisa Scottoline"I love Lisa Scottoline's non fiction books about her, her daughter and mother - maybe I'll join you on this one, we'll see🙂

I didn't even know she wrote non-fiction, I'll have to check those out. I read her novel Eternal and loved it
I'm planning on reading "Madam Love, Actually" by Rich Amooi for this one (madam being the palindrome).
I'll either read Let's Talk About Hard Things by Anna Sale or Anna Karenina, both of which I've started but never finished in the past
I read Dear Bob and Sue by Matt Smith for a book club. It would also apply to "related to the word 'wild'", because it is about a couple who visit all of the U.S. national parks that were around at the time (some more have been added since it was written).
I've seen a similar prompt to this before, and people have chosen titles such as 'Wolf by Wolf' and 'Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow', where the title as a whole is (sort of) a palindrome if you consider each word to be a 'unit' instead of each letter. Would this count towards the challenge?

Palindromania!
This was a fun graphic novel, humor."
Thanks for the recommendation Lucie. My local library had Otto: A Palindrama by Jon Agee, a fun graphic novel that was like nothing I've read before. The story follows a young boy Otto through a series of adventures while looking for his dog Pip.
A few of my favorite lines:
"Do geese see God?"
"Emus sail, I assume"
"No panic, I nap on!
I read The Death of an Eye by Dana Stabenow. I loved the author’s Kate Shugak series so thiught I’d give this mystery set in the time of Cleopatra a try. It was very interesting.
I read Sunbringer by Hannah Kaner. It's the sequel to Godkiller, and there's apparently a third book coming in the future.
I'm doing House of Eve for this one! I almost grabbed it this weekend for a plane ride and I'm eager to read this one
I'm going to use Kickbacks, Kayaks, & Kidnapping by Tonya Kappes for this one. There is a kayak on the cover
I read The Man I Never Met by Elle Cook. https://cdnbookworm.blogspot.com/2024...Elle is the palindrome.
“Black Beauty” by Anna Sewell is so sad and depressing! I just can’t stand for animals to be abused or injured in books. It did fulfill the topic. Anna is a palindrome.
S.O.S. by Tom Phillips
4/5
Really wish it was August now. I don't know whether or not to read the ending as hopeful or ominous, so I hope book 3 will do some clearing up once it's released!

What is a palindrome? A palindrome is a word, sentence, or phrase that reads the same backward as it does forward. For example, “racecar” or “nurses run.”
For prompt 37, we’re looking for a book with a palindrome on the cover. This may be a word in the title, the title as a whole, a design element on the cover, a word in the blurb on the back cover, a word in an endorsement on the cover, the author’s name, etc.
One-word palindromes work toward this prompt, and the palindrome can be in any language. A few examples of one-word English palindromes include: radar, civic, madam, rotor, rotator, kayak, level, noon, mom, sagas, solos, stats, wow, bib, nun, refer, pop, peep, sis, tenet.
If one of these words appear anywhere on the cover (front, back, or spine) as either a word or a graphic, it counts toward this prompt. (For example: You may have the word “Kayak” in the title, or a picture of a kayak in the cover design.)
You might also choose an author named Hannah, Anna, Bob, Ava, Otto, Elle, Arora, Aviva, Eve, Ada, Lil, Viv, etc. Additionally, if these names appear in the title, subtitle, another author’s endorsement on the cover, a character name in the back blurb, etc, it works toward this prompt.
