Lit Beauts Book Club discussion

I loved this book. I’m shocked with how many negative reviews it’s received. I found the pace to be quick and interesting. There were twists that the reader would never see coming. While I’m not the biggest fan of reading about characters who are alcoholics, as it gets boring and repetitive, the author does a good job of keeping storyline moving. I enjoyed the little time jumps and the way the author made you guess what was really happening by adding additional characters. Overall, very well written.

I loved this book! I usually tend to chose female writers so this book was different for me. I got hooked in right away. Each time I thought I knew what was going on the author threw in a twist and then I was questioning what I knew about all the characters and I loved the supernatural element as well! Looking forward to reading more books by this author!

I enjoyed reading this book. It had good underlying meaning and themes throughout. And was easy to read. Some points of the book were a bit random / out there, but it definitely kept me wanting to read more. I liked this author and would read another book by him. Overall, I’d recommend this book to friends and family. 4/5.
