Sorry, We're Booked discussion

Happy October!! I’m getting ready to kick off Lessons in Chemistry via audio bc I may fall asleep if I sit down and try to read a book right now with a newborn 😴 I have A Court of Thorns and Roses and Remarkably Bright Creatures on Deck which I’ve heard good things about so I’m excited for those. ☺️ Hope everyone is doing well!

I’m in my audiobook era too!! So much driving over the last month but I’ve listened to

1. I’m glad my mom died - Jennette McCurdy (3 stars, I watched icarly and it was interesting to learn more about Jennette but got the celebrity ick from her a few times like she was a little out of touch and whiny)
2. Daddy Diaries - Andy Cohen (3 stars, I love Andy Cohen but didn’t love this as much as I thought I would, I think it was the diary style via audio book that just made it hard to take it all in)
3. The Answer is - Alex Trebek (4 stars, would’ve been 5 if Alex read every chapter, he only read a couple and ken Jennings read the rest.. Ken had the voice of a boring robot)
4. XOXO Cody - Cody Rigsby (4 stars, I love his peloton classes and learning about his childhood in my hometown was super interesting to hear)

And currently listening to The Longest Race by Kara Goucher, super interesting story on the abuse in the professional Nike running world

I also read true love experiment! Super cute story, was not surprised at all by the ending but I was hooked the whole time.
