I've been going back and forth between print and audio ... just today I discovered that the audiobook has chapters that don't appear in my print edition!
Oh my goodness, bonus content! Maybe I will have to get the audio book and listen to that as well.
Here is my short and sweet review: Funny, sad, thought-provoking, and educational. I give this collection of essays by John Green four stars.

So funny. I got only the book to begin with and liked the introduction and his clever ideas about the thrill of the author's signature and the1-5 star reviews of the main subject of the essays. However I was only maybe 3 stars strong about the collection until I got the audio and began listening and reading along. This morning "We" read and narrated the Essay " Sunset's" which I loved! Then we went on to Jerzy Dudek's Performance and realized that until that point all the prior pieces had been given below 4star rating...He gave Sunsets and Jerzy's May 25 2005 Performance 5 stars. It's almost like he is reviewing his own "less then 175 word" essays. And I agree with him so far.
I think that the more you can connect with the subject he is writing about you will think its funny or serious and most certainly thought-provoking and informational. I'm not sure if Gen Z will understand his stories or agree with his star ratings. I am part of he Anthropocene period and I am not alone! I'm anxious to discuss it and maybe finish it with some new interpretations and opinions.
