Well-Educated Mind Poetry Reading List discussion

This is another poem that focuses on Hopkins' depression; but unlike Carrion Comfort, there is no acceptance of the circumstances. Perhaps Hopkins is just laying out the facts: this is how it feels to suffer, and there is nothing anyone will or can do about it. It sucks!
