General Rules

-Look before you post! Please check before you post to ensure there isn't already an ongoing or previous discussion on the same topic. Duplicate topics will be either removed or archived to help keep discussion folders clutter free.

-Hate speech of any kind, bullying, threats, and attacks on other members are not tolerated and will result in an immediate ban from the group.

-Try to keep foul language to a minimum. We are not an 18+ group so there are members that don't want to read it!

-Be respectful, everyone has their own opinion. Disagreeing is fine but don't use offensive language or get into fights.

-Don't spam the topics. Any spam will be deleted. Spam is when a person posts in one or multiple topics about giveaways, contests, blogs, books that have nothing to do with the discussion folder, or it could be someone advertising something irrelevant. Continual spamming could result in a ban from the group.

-Participate! The whole point of joining a group is so join in on the monthly reads and talk with other members.

-Addicted to YA doesn't promote books upon request. The only books that are put on the group bookshelf are BOTM books that have been suggested and voted on by members.

-Members may not add discussions about books to the Currently Reading, Series, or Stand Alone folders. These will be deleted or moved to the “Recommendations” folder.

Violation of the Rules

-Members violating certain rules will be given one warning before being removed from the group.

-First offense: Message from the moderator and your comment/topic will be deleted.

-Second offense: Removal from the group.

-If the situation is severe the member may be removed from the group without a warning.

If you are unsure or have questions please ask here.

Yes! You can start a conversation by clicking on the following link and clicking "New Topic" on the top right.
https://www.goodreads.com/topic/group...

You can also start a buddy read if you would like by putting in a buddy read request with others. If people agree, you can start a group buddy read. You can request one here:
https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...

If you make an official buddy read, you can add the discussion here:

Glauco Coelho | 3 comments Hi. I am new to Goodreads and just joined in. I am working on a YA book and would like to know if any of the members are interested in being a beta reader. If so, what is the process (upload a file, paste chapters, send a link etc.)? Thank you all.
