Hi, I'm a new member here. I am a huge fan of Stephen King, but I wonder if there's any horror author that I can check out. Thanks and have a nice day.

Depends on what type of horror you like? Check out the facebook group Books of Horror. Lots of great indie authors and books.
If you want similar writing style to Stephen Kings writing I’d recommend Chuck Wendig and Nick Cutter.
The Only Good Indians reminded me so much of the King books I read in my youth. And I second Wendig, I avoided eating apples for weeks after reading Black River Orchard and I love apples! Just a note though, both are brutally violent. It had been a while since I read horror and I was taken aback by The Only Good Indians lol
I've written a gothic horror novel you may enjoy. Feel free to visit my Goodreads page to have a look!
I enjoyed Graham Masterton and James Herbert when I was in my 80s Horror groove! (1980s....not my 80s 😂). I know that some of Stephen King's novels are now problematic to some, and I have no idea if the above authors have any issues. Peter Straub is also worth a read, he wrote a book with Stephen King, Black House, so you may already be aware of him.
