Introducing Her Grace, Yasmine Ilta Gille, Dutchess of Renoa

Well… not anymore…

꧁༺ Name ༻꧂ Yasmine Ilta Gille
꧁༺ Undercover Name ༻꧂ Vada
꧁༺ Age ༻꧂ 29
꧁༺ Gender ༻꧂ Female
꧁༺ Pronouns ༻꧂ She/Her

꧁༺ Face Claim ༻꧂ Yasmeen Ghauri

꧁༺ Appearance ༻꧂
Yasmine is tan skinned, with chocolate brown curls and dark eyes. Her face holds a permanent intimidating pout, one which can easily turn to a seductive smile. She has rounded features and sharp thick eyebrows which make her appear even more striking. In the time before the rise of the Crimson rebels, Yasmine was known to wear boisterous avant-garde clothing. She would wear whimsical makeup, lavish jewelry and pearls, statement making headdresses and revealing gowns to celebrate her physique. Now as she must hide away in the village, the woman wears much duller clothing. She dresses herself as a common maiden, still opting to wear lower necklines and a stain of red on her lips.

꧁༺ Status ༻꧂ Ex Dutchess
꧁༺ Mother ༻꧂ Lorena Gille
꧁༺ Father ༻꧂ Rami Gille
꧁༺ Support ༻꧂ the fallen crown

꧁༺ Personality ༻꧂
Yasmine, now known as Vada, is a vivacious and enchanting woman. Her flirtatious nature is a key aspect of her charm, she knows she has the ability to enrapture most any man or lady. In her time as a Dutchess she would effortlessly weave through social circles, leaving a trail of captivated hearts in her wake. Yasmine possesses a magnetic charisma that makes her not only extroverted but the life of the party, drawing people toward her like moths to a flame. Of course, now that she is in hiding her charm must be more subtle. Yasmine is a master of reading people, understanding their desires, and using that knowledge to her advantage. Her flirtation is more transactional and manipulative, as she has had to hone her influence as a skill for survival.
Within her is a still lively girl, eccentric and excitable, creatively minded and interested in the pleasures and opportunities that life holds.
Angered by what has been stolen from her by the rebels, vengeance usually weighs heavy on Yasmine’s mind. She is a meticulous schemer. Perhaps from her spoiled previous lifestyle she is also impatient and incessantly determined. She truly believes that the royals and their allies can fight back and win against the Crimsons. Yasmine is resilient, and she refuses to be defeated forever.
Having to be suspicious and cautious in hiding, she doesn’t not know who she can trust, Yasmine keeps her lovers and patrons close, and her perceived enemies much closer.

꧁༺ History ༻꧂

Yasmine Ilta Gille was the product of the well received pairing of Lady Lorena, a cousin to the reigning monarch of the kingdom of Amandla, and head knight Sir Rami Gille. From a young age, Yasmine was immersed in a life of privilege and education. She attended prestigious schools that nurtured her artistic talents and mathematical acumen, preparing her for a future laden with responsibilities.
Though the girl was academically gifted, she always preferred to fool around. There was never much worry in the young child’s life and she never feared consequences nor really understood them. Her idyllic and rather spoiled upbringing took a dark turn when her mother fell victim to a debilitating illness during Yasmine's teenage years. None of the maids or physicians could find the root cause or cure for Lorena’s sickness, and she succumbed to it quickly. There were whispers of Rami Gille having night-time meetings with women known to dabble in occult affairs. As gossip ran of the knight somehow cursing his late wife and bringing upon her death, Yasmine grew apart from him, and the girl separated herself from her father out of suspicion and grief.

As the years passed, Yasmine became more involved in the social circles of the upper echelon of Amandla. At the age of 18, fate thrust her into a position of authority. Due to her involvement in the court, her blood relation, and her academic prowess, she was bestowed the title of Dutchess by the royal Hordon-Lancaster family. Yasmine became the ruler of the prosperous territory of Renoa, a quaint sector of the kingdom. She saw potential in its dullness almost immediately. For a decade, Yasmine skillfully navigated the intricate web of politics and governance, transforming Renoa into a beacon of wealth and culture. Her rule was marked by opulence and prosperity. Yasmine orchestrated the export of fine artisan goods, including fabrics, textiles, art, and technology, turning Renoa into a hub of commerce. She was not merely a ruler; she was a maestro, orchestrating events with flair and precision. And oh how much fun she had. Her elaborate parties were the talk of the land. Throwing costume balls, masquerades and parades, Yasmine would wear revealing garments made of lush fabrics, luxuriously and eccentrically accessorized. Her reign was one of wine and entertainment. Her numerous lovers, both men and women, only added to her mystique.

Like throwing a finely blown glass on a marble floor, the Crimson rebels rise shattered Yasmine’s reign. Despite her strategic planning and the desperate efforts of her guard, the rebels' insurgency proved unstoppable. The once-illustrious and glamorous duchy of Renoa succumbed to their power, and Yasmine faced the harsh reality of defeat.

Shocked and destroyed by the seizing of her playground, her once-beautiful territory, Yasmine made her escape. Fleeing far away, splintering off from her surviving maids and escorts, she sought refuge in a distant village. To elude those who sought to bring her to justice, she concealed her true identity. No longer the beguiling Dutchess of Renoa, she took on the name Vada and was able to blend in finding work in a bar in the village. Hiding her identity was not too difficult, as without her extreme fashions, she could easily play along as a village minx, selling her company to those who would pay the right amount. Yasmine still waits however for an opportunity to take back her power, reclaim the kingdom from those who took it from her. She hopes that somewhere out there, the other royals have survived, and that they can enact their revenge.

”And I promise darling, my diamonds will cut you deep…”

𓆱 Name 𓆱 Levitt Turner
𓆱 Age 𓆱 35
𓆱 Gender 𓆱 Male
𓆱 Pronouns 𓆱 He/him

𓆱 Face Claim 𓆱 Matthew Macfayden

𓆱 Appearance 𓆱
Levitt Turner is tall and fit, well built due to his work history. He has brown hair, usually impeccably styled but prone to unruliness under stress. His blue eyes convey a calmness that contrasts with his usually serious expression. In his advisory role, he wears dark evergreen long coats, robes, and cuffed white shirts. However, during leisure, he reverts to burlap trousers, light shirts, and hats to shield from the sun, reminiscent of his past as a working farmer. He will often still tend to his own garden and land in his free time and can often be seen wearing his working clothes.

𓆱 Status 𓆱 Head of Agriculture
𓆱 Support 𓆱 Crimsons… but he’s willing to negotiate…

𓆱 Personality 𓆱
Levitt Turner is a serious, strict man. He walks with his head held high and he rarely has much to say. He doesn’t prefer small talk or chatter. He just listens. He observes. He is an organized individual, making him very effective in his job as an advisor. He knows his work, he knows the land, he knows what the people need. It’s that simple, and so in turn he is simple. Some might find him blunt, a bit stuck up, but Levitt knows what he’s after. He fights for the rights of his people, his community.

Deep down, he is a humble and quiet soul. He’s a farmer through and through and he knows what it means to work hard. Levitt is loyal to his people and those he comes to care for. He can be surprising when he allows his softer side to show through. However, though he knows how to put on the facade of a trustworthy advisor, he is also very cunning. He’s not above under the table dealings and backstabbing if he feels that it’s the right thing for his community. Levitt Turner would have no problem doing whatever he must for those he loves. Even if that means he would have blood on his hands.

𓆱 History 𓆱
From the moment he took his first steps in the tall grass, felt the dirt between his toes, Levitt Turner loved the Earth. He adored the swaying trees, rolling hills and plentiful fields. He felt safest in nature. He understood its tempers. Born into a large family, Levitt along with siblings and neighbors, dedicated their lives to tending the land, supplying bountiful harvests that sustained the kingdom of Amandla. He learned young how to sow seeds, work with the changing seasons, and distribute the goods to those who were hungry. And there were many hungry mouths to feed in the kingdom. The work was endless, and often thankless. Growing close with his community of hard working farmers and ranchers, Levitt saw firsthand how difficult life continued to be. While the royal people sat pretty in their towers feigning smiles and generosity, the working folk were doing all the dirty living and dying for it too. One winter in his teenage years, Levitt lost his best friend Reid to an illness. It was one they could not afford to cure, one that had mostly been caused by over working. And he was not the only one, many in the community lost loved ones and land due to being out priced and yet over worked. No one seemed to be looking out for the countryman, especially not the royals.

As the harsh reality of loss settled in, a seed of resentment took root in Levitt's heart. He harbored a growing belief that the royals, comfortably ensconced in their opulent palaces, remained oblivious to the struggles of the working class. In his eyes, they were detached, unable to comprehend the true needs of the kingdom and the sacrifices made by those who toiled in the fields.
Fuelled by this simmering discontent, Levitt slowly aligned himself with the Crimson Rebels. His intimate knowledge of the land, cultivated through a lifetime of farming, made him an invaluable asset to the rebels. He began supplying them with harvests, becoming a vital link in the chain of support that fueled the rebellion.

When the Crimson Rebels successfully overturned the existing order, Levitt's role expanded. Aubree and the new rulers recognized the importance of his expertise and appointed him as the head of agriculture. Levitt found himself in a position where he could not only advise on the best ways to tend to the land but also advocate for the rights of the working farmer and harvester.
Levitt's loyalty, however, is a complex tapestry. While he is presently committed to the Crimson cause, his true allegiance lies with the working people of his village. He is not hesitant to use his influence to secretly negotiate with other rising powers if it means securing fair treatment for the hardworking masses. And who knows? Perhaps it’s time for the farmer to have a try at ruling? Perhaps he could take back the power for his people himself.
