The organization was formed to take down her birth family and to find out who truly killed her adoptive family. After a punishing and cutthroat battle, Aubree emerged victorious and seized control of the kingdom of Amandla. With her unyielding determination, bravery, and shrewdness, she proved to be a cunning leader and instilled fear and obedience in her people. Her coronation ceremony was a dark and foreboding affair, attended only by those who dared to cross her. It was a momentous occasion, one that would be remembered with dread for years to come for those who weren't loyal to the new queen.
Aubree is a complex individual with a tough exterior that can sometimes be intimidating. She is a fighter, both physically and emotionally, but only has a reputation for being a violent person. Her bravery and loyalty are qualities that make her a great leader, and she is highly respected by those who follow her. Aubree's willingness to take action in moments of crisis is undeniable. She won't hesitate to pull the trigger of a gun if it means saving the lives of those around her. This quality has both saved and jeopardized her life at times, but she knows that to survive in the world she lives in, she must be willing to take risks.
However, Aubree doesn't trust easily. Her past experiences have stripped her of that privilege, leaving her cautious and guarded. But given the kind of work she does, it's probably a good thing that she's not too trusting. Her role in leading a rebel organization and an entire kingdom requires her to be constantly vigilant and aware of potential threats. Aubree is a force to be reckoned with. eddie may come across as a bit overdramatic and straightforward, even though he doesn’t truly mean to be rude. some might see him as a peculiar asthmatic who has a strange obsession with spraying cleaner on people's faces, which leads to the fact of eddie disliking messiness. this doesn’t mean he isn’t one to turn down a bet.. unless, of course, it’s a matter of life or death. generally, eds can be a bit impolite, but he does have his softer moments. think of him like sour candy — you have to endure the initial tongue-burning phase before reaching the sweet, gooey center. similarly, he expresses his emotions through touch rather than words. trust me, he's terrible with words. but that doesn't mean he won't be utterly perplexed by your own emotions, due to his godawful communication skills. when he’s anxious, he tends to fiddle, and he becomes awkwardly silent around people who are crying or frustrated. apart from that, he’s quite knowledgeable in the medical field and takes pleasure in his role as the queens’ advisor.

growing up with a normal childhood? in what used to be amandla? please, anyone would laugh. eds has had his fair share of history. lets start it off with this: his father died soon after eddie was born, for he had been infected by a brutal plague, and took his last breath in the village hospice. eddie doesn’t remember it, nor does he really care all that much anymore. he never knew the guy, why should he bother? so he kept living his live in solitude, his mother being the only company he’d ever had for quite some time. if he’s going to be truthful, he could say that his mother had been the one to catch the plague in a metaphorical way. she slowly became barbaric, having a strong belief that eddie would die. that he would leave her. eventually, it got to the point that after all the pointless pills and all the false illnesses, that he did leave. edward kaspbrak became sick of her games and left to join a cult that would allow him to be more free with his life than she ever would. he only ever made two friends, at first. stanley and will. those two names haunt his mind, now that the cult he thought was just a joke has taken over. it all went from a small group, to a massive rebellion, and now it’s.. ashes. all of it. a whole kingdom of death.
and eddie’s fearful, but he needs to stay safe and keep everyone else he loves safe — something his mother was too overboard on. he doesn’t want to be like her, but sometimes, even as the advisor, he’ll catch himself worrying too hard. it was a bad habit, he supposed.

Jude was raised in a world of politics and power. Born to a noble family, Jude was granted privileges that were not afforded to most children. His father was the right hand of King Hordon, and he often brought Jude along on his visits to the castle. After all, the king had two young children around his age, and it was important to cement royal alliances early in life. Even now, all these years later, Jude can remember the first time he laid eyes on the royal princess of Amandla. She was beautiful, and Jude knew from first sight that she was the only girl he would ever love.
Even with his father's wealth and power, it was difficult for Jude to get close to Princess Amy. She was attached to her brother at the hip, and Prince Adrian wanted nothing to do with Jude after he had bested him in a play sword fight. It seemed like Jude would never be able to catch the princess' eye. And then, she vanished.
Jude was beside himself with grief and worry when Princess Amy disappeared. He begged his father to look for her, but he seemed to be privy to some secret knowledge that Jude did not have and refused to help. Even his kind, loving mother would not help him search for his beloved princess. Then he knew that it would be up to him to bring her home safely. Jude spent the next nine years searching tirelessly for Princess Amy, letting his studies fall to the wayside. He only kept up with his swordsmanship and court training, knowing that those skills would be vital once he found his love.
Eventually, he succeeded. He had spotted Aubree of the Crimson rebels in town and had known immediately that she was his long lost love. He followed her back to the Crimson base and joined up with the rebels on the spot. He quickly rose through the ranks of the organization because of his skill with the sword and seemingly endless coffers, and eventually caught the attention of Aubree. For once in his life, he wasn't just wistfully loving her from a distance. Given an opportunity he never thought he would have, Jude thoroughly courted Aubree, making her fall for him nearly as hard as he had fallen for her.
Now, Jude is married to Aubree, and all of his dreams have come true.

Red is usually flirty with just about anyone and everyone who hasn’t expressed discomfort. He’s almost always sweet, though he only occasionally lets his softer side show. Despite this, he has nothing against getting in a fight either in self-defense or in defense of someone else. Even though he’s on the thinner side, he’s still quite good at fighting. It’s not very often that he gets close to other people. Not because he avoids others, but because he doesn’t trust easily. Besides, the people around him usually move on anyway. He’s more or less come to terms with the possibility of never being close with anyone, platonically or romantically.

BACKSTORY
Alaric grew up as the firstborn son of two noble parents. A perfect little boy, with pale blonde hair and bright blue eyes. Of course, being nobility meant he was under a severe amount of pressure throughout his childhood, and he spent most of it isolated from most of his peers in the kingdom. He hated every second of it. He didn’t care if there was always something to do, always money to buy whatever he wanted. He was bored.
It only got worse as he grew older and realized he didn’t truly have anyone around him aside from servants. And so he began to sneak out, covering himself as much as he good. During one of these ventures when he was 17, he met a girl: Faith Marwood. He fell in love with her. He’d spend the better part of the year with her, even as their relationship devolved into her abusing and blackmailing him. She could ruin his family. She could ruin him. He couldn’t leave. He couldn’t upset her.
Shortly after he turned 18, they got into a horrible fight. It turned violent, as most of their fights did, but this time he snapped. He broke and he stabbed her God knows how many times. It was that same night that he disappeared and “Alaric” was never seen again.
He joined up with the Crimson Rebels when he was 19 after he’d dyed his hair red and let it grow down to his shoulders. He’d only started calling himself Ciaran Redding shortly before he joined them, but he quickly grew attached to the name. It was simple. Short. Far from the regal images that “Alaric Byrne” called up.
He contributed a great deal to the uprising, and it’s one of his greatest prides. He owned a bar for several years, although he sold it when he took up the title of Secretary of Labor for the new kingdom.

first and foremost, venus is an unpredictable entity. she might be a gentle ripple one moment and a roaring tidal wave the next. it's hard to tell which it will be until she opens her mouth. the amount of sailor vocabulary shoved into one sentence will help you gauge her mood. she's the epitome of "small but mighty" in that venus is a bit shorter than average, but makes up for it with a big persona. admittedly, she has a sharp tongue and occasionally finds it hard to get along with people because of it. oh, and ven thrives without a filter, so don't take it to heart. the stress of her duties sorta gets to her sometimes, though she has become skilled in hiding those feelings. ven carries quite a bit of emotional baggage, not that she lets anyone see. she wears many masks when it comes to emotions. while some people may hold themselves in high regard, ven refuses to lie to herself. she is conscious of her faults and shortcomings, and is actually surprisingly humble about them despite her usual cavalier demeanor. she is always willing to learn whatever anyone will teach her, and can often be found in the training grounds with the knights, unashamed to be taught by the least of them. she might seem unpredictable and flighty, but ven does take her job seriously. for all her downfalls, venus is an pretty damn good secretary of defense, even if it might not seem like it. not only does she have the mind for it, but she also possesses the courage to protect her country and the familiarity to connect with her knights. she also has the heart to be a change in the kingdom so no one else has to suffer under a cold-hearted leadership. i'll admit she doesn't exactly look the part though...

venus was no one of any importance. no heritage, no fame, no one knew her name beyond the sea drake's dead crew. well, at least until she moved up in the ranks. her father was a merchant captain in service to the crown and her mother was the navigator. ven was quite literally born and raised on the ship among the sailing crew for most of her life, which accounts for much of her language and mannerisms. she never had a real education, but the sailors taught her everything they knew, from navigating by the stars to how to clean and salt a fish. there was also some reading and writing thrown in there, but venus would say her best lessons were those on weapons. cargo voyages were long and monotonous, and the crew used the time to teach her everything about the art of combat. venus is now well-versed in a wide variety of weapons and martial arts, all because they were bored. she would say that her life was perfect the way it was, with no boundaries but the sky and sea. it was everything she ever wanted. but of course, happiness isn't allowed here in amandla so that had to change. it was a normal carrier run for the sea drake, but a rogue storm threw a wrench in life. all it took was a big wave and jagged rocks concealed beneath the blue. there were three lone survivors of a nineteen count crew. one died in transport to the medics, so then there were two. another had fatal injuries and didn't last long after that, and then there was one. venus was alone. her physical injuries were minor -- a few broken ribs, concussion, various cuts and bruises -- but the emotional scars took a toll on her. she'd lost everyone she had ever known or loved, and no one seemed to care about the lives taken. it wasn't anything the kingdom did to spark her anger. rather, it was what they didn't do. no one went to retrieve the bodies, they said there was no use. there was no recognition or acknowledgement of her crewmates, even though they had died serving the kingdom. there wasn't even a funeral. the crown didn't care for the lives of eighteen sailors, ven realized, and they didn't care about her. angry and with a temper to boot, venus fought against the system in every way possible, though her impact was too small to be noticed. that was when she discovered the crimson rebels, and the rest is history.

a few other things you should know about venus is that she loves heights, hates snakes, pureblood daredevil, and is allergic to lemons. just fyi. also, venus is absolutely terrified of water. anything more than what can fit in a cup is a big no. rain, rivers, the fountain out front... it's her biggest fear and greatest secret.

Levitt Turner is tall and fit, well built due to his work history. He has brown hair, usually impeccably styled but prone to unruliness under stress. However, during leisure, he reverts to burlap trousers, light shirts, and hats to shield from the sun, reminiscent of his past as a working farmer. Levitt Turner is a serious, strict man. He walks with his head held high and he rarely has much to say. He doesn’t prefer small talk or chatter. He just listens. He observes. He is an organized individual, making him very effective in his job as an advisor. He knows his work, he knows the land, he knows what the people need. It’s that simple, and so in turn he is simple. Some might find him blunt, a bit stuck up, but Levitt knows what he’s after. He fights for the rights of his people, his community.
Deep down, he is a humble and quiet soul. He’s a farmer through and through and he knows what it means to work hard. Levitt is loyal to his people and those he comes to care for. He can be surprising when he allows his softer side to show through. However, though he knows how to put on the facade of a trustworthy advisor, he is also very cunning. He’s not above under the table dealings and backstabbing if he feels that it’s the right thing for his community. Levitt Turner would have no problem doing whatever he must for those he loves. Even if that means he would have blood on his hands.

From the moment he took his first steps in the tall grass, felt the dirt between his toes, Levitt Turner loved the Earth. He adored the swaying trees, rolling hills and plentiful fields. He felt safest in nature. He understood its tempers. Born into a large family, Levitt along with siblings and neighbors, dedicated their lives to tending the land, supplying bountiful harvests that sustained the kingdom of Amandla. He learned young how to sow seeds, work with the changing seasons, and distribute the goods to those who were hungry. And there were many hungry mouths to feed in the kingdom. The work was endless, and often thankless. Growing close with his community of hard working farmers and ranchers, Levitt saw firsthand how difficult life continued to be. While the royal people sat pretty in their towers feigning smiles and generosity, the working folk were doing all the dirty living and dying for it too. One winter in his teenage years, Levitt lost his best friend Reid to an illness. It was one they could not afford to cure, one that had mostly been caused by over working. And he was not the only one, many in the community lost loved ones and land due to being out priced and yet over worked. No one seemed to be looking out for the countryman, especially not the royals.
As the harsh reality of loss settled in, a seed of resentment took root in Levitt's heart. He harbored a growing belief that the royals, comfortably ensconced in their opulent palaces, remained oblivious to the struggles of the working class. In his eyes, they were detached, unable to comprehend the true needs of the kingdom and the sacrifices made by those who toiled in the fields.
Fuelled by this simmering discontent, Levitt slowly aligned himself with the Crimson Rebels. His intimate knowledge of the land, cultivated through a lifetime of farming, made him an invaluable asset to the rebels. He began supplying them with harvests, becoming a vital link in the chain of support that fueled the rebellion.
When the Crimson Rebels successfully overturned the existing order, Levitt's role expanded. Aubree and the new rulers recognized the importance of his expertise and appointed him as the head of agriculture. Levitt found himself in a position where he could not only advise on the best ways to tend to the land but also advocate for the rights of the working farmer and harvester.
Levitt's loyalty, however, is a complex tapestry. While he is presently committed to the Crimson cause, his true allegiance lies with the working people of his village. He is not hesitant to use his influence to secretly negotiate with other rising powers if it means securing fair treatment for the hardworking masses. And who knows? Perhaps it’s time for the farmer to have a try at ruling? Perhaps he could take back the power for his people himself.

Personality in detail: Davy’s resilience has always been there, and that’s where his optimism came from learning from his past wins and losses. His generosity comes from when he wasn’t able to walk, learning from that he had learned to be more generous to people who have physical and mental disabilities, like he did. His confidence has always been apart of him. Davy’s caring came from his mother, who alway made sure he knew to be kind and never rude or cruel. History: Davys father had been involved with the crimsons as soon as they started. He had got Davy into the group when he was just ten, not knowing what was going on at all he followed what ever his father said. Being obedient and not speaking up against anything. Soon enough he had been brainwashed into believing that he was doing something good. As soon as the crimsons struck the castle at its weakest, Davy had gone for the queen taking her away. Getting back to the fight he had been ambushed by the head guard and some other guards, he stood his ground and fought but he was half beaten to death when more crimsons had came to help him. After a lot of healing and rehabilitation, he learned to walk and fight again.

- Rose was born into a dirt-poor family, their mother was young when she had them; her husband dying shortly after the death of their second child, Tulip. Rose was tasked with raising their sister and grew a deep-rooted resentment for the girl. They never had their own life, catering after Tulip's every need while their mother, Amara, went to work. Tulip wasn't a bad child, no, and she rarely asked for anything, trying her very best to give Rose space to be themself, but Rose wouldn't have it.
- Well into their childhood, Rose didn't have to do anything for Tulip, but those few years where they did had already planted that seed of hatred. Amara's anger certainly wasn't helpful, and a Rose ran away. They hated their mother and sister by the age of twelve and never once thought about going back. Just before their teenage years, Rose met a boy. This boy told them about a "rebellion," and Rose searched for it. They were recruited as a trainee after many attempts and a rather insistent nature.
- Before the rebellion struck, Rose was working hard behind the scenes. They often took to threatening those who could expose the plans of the rebellion, protecting the secrets in order to keep it from getting to the royals. They would use their charm and looks to convince or their blade to scare. Leading up to the final thing, Rose worked closely with a few others to infiltrate the castle. They hadn't ever expected their sister, little Tulip, to be all grown and working as a maid in the palace. Rose hated the girl. In a moment of rage, Rose attacked Tulip. She got away, but not without severe injuries. It seemed that Tulip never told, but Rose was punished. They were locked up for life.
- Being locked up didn't allow Rose to know much during the rebel's take-over. They took their time in prison to devise a revenge plan, trained every moment they could and created a list of those who had wronged them. Their mother, those who captured them after their attack on Tulip. Tulip, for taking away their childhood. Those who killed their father.
- After the fall of the royals, Rose finally escaped.

growing up in a household where everything was done for him was something delano had always liked; but that was when he was young. skipping school to drink wine with his parents was something delano had always liked; but that was when he was little. having a load of money and keeping it to himself was something delano had always liked; but that was when he was little. the list goes on, and of course, he was just a kid with no understanding of any of it. his actions were unclear to him, because they just.. happened. so when he found out about his parents secret vault, when he found out about the royals, when he found out that there were poorer people out there, when he found out that his parents were wrong — he was scared and confused. delano, having nowhere to go, nobody to talk to, was left alone on the couch for enough nights to plan for himself where he would go. eventually, fourteen year old delano decided to run into the woods, where he could slowly fade out of the picture. turns out, some people in crimson and black like to snatch stranded kids and throw them down in front of their leader. who said he ever wanted to be a crimson? he was a young teenager, kept inside and domesticated by his parents. but that mindset hasn’t changed. he knows they were wrong. so, so wrong. and he doesn’t want to feel inferior. that’s why, a few years later, when delano was around twenty-four years of age, and the crimsons took control of the royal palace, his first choice of action was finding his parents, and showing them who was right.

benji was born to parents that really didn't want children. magnolia and laurent anderson were in their late teens when benji was born, making his home life unstable at best. throughout his younger years, he was neglected, often left alone for hours on end, no one giving him a second thought. as he grew, especially throughout his early teens, he found himself naturally growing defenses against others. benji spent most of this time alone and was comfortable being an outcast. he had never known what it was like to fit in with a group of people and have them accept you just for you who you are - not for whom they wish you to be.
and so, benji found peace within the crimson knights. he found a routine and a schedule that kept him in line and kept his past just there... in the past. it helped him forget his horrendous childhood and it made him look forward to the future. however, even within the group he isolates more than he should, still preferring his own company. his walls are built up high and he doesn't plan to drop them for anyone anytime soon.
he has a bit of a mean streak, often getting more violent than a situation warrants. his temper flares fast and often, preferring to emotionally hurt others initially rather than running the risk of getting hurt later. benji spars often, needing some way to get out the energy that always seems to run around inside of him. along with sparring, benji runs often, preferring the cool weather to do so. running helps him clear his thoughts - it effectively resets his brain.excess info (view spoiler)
