This book was the lesser version of the first book with all the problems from the first book. There were so many characters it was hard keeping track of what was going on with who; it was really political (which is not really an issue I just find it boring); the story is so drawn out (especially the ending); and a lot of the important and interesting stuff is glossed over.

I did like (view spoiler)

The book was left with an open ending again like the first book. It’s not open ended enough that you NEED to read the next book immediately, but it’s open ended enough that it feels like a silly closing to a book that took so long to get to the point. The prologue was not necessary at all. It started the book off by confusing the reader than not even being relevant to the ending. The ending itself was very similar to the first book(view spoiler).
