My poem, The Moon Illusion, is now up on As it Ought To Be. This poem began many years ago, and then lay fallow in my unfinished poems file. Recently I dug it out and did a drastic edit and here it is. There’s nothing like the passage of time to give you perspective on something you’ve written.

I get the felling about "time" and "healing"
But am not sure about "the price the collector is willing to pay"
Blame it on English being my second language ;-)

Thanks Dirk. What I was thinking when I wrote that is that we each have our own ways of dealing with loss and must come to a balance of our own device.

I really loved this poem. I’ve experienced loss before but at the beginning of this year I lost one of the most influential and important people in my life. I saw many reflections of myself in this poem and the thoughts I’ve had as time has gone on. Thank you for such a lovely poem 🧡🌿
