Playground question

I loved this book!!! Talk about horrifying, all the blood and guts was just what I was looking for and this delivered. The scene with the slide had my jaw on the fucking floor I had to read it twice.

One thing I do wish was explored more was the back story about Geraldine. I wish we could have picked her brain more about why she got so fucked up and the horrors she faced. Other than that, I LOVED this book.

This book was my first experience in splatter punk/ extreme horror. Am I a tad depraved? Probably, but I thought this book was excellent. Gross? Of course. Disturbing? Absolutely...... I think taking the time to really read the warnings would help a lot of people be less offended. There was so much detail that you could really see the words come to life in your imagination. Sometimes that haunts me later because mine is so vivid, but this really was a great read.
