Going to read Queen of exile for this prompt, super excited to have some Haitian representation in a book.... Update finish the book.I don't usually like historical fiction, but this blue, my expectation. As a Haitian, I knew of my history, but it being written so eloquently even in a fictional lens was beautiful and heart wrenching at the same time. Vanessa Reily clearly did her research and it shows. This book has to be in everyone's TBR.
