Spent most of last night gaming then watching a Twitch channel beat a Super Mario game while I ate some ice cream. But for my dinner, I ate some tacos

Happy New Year everyone. Spent it with friends. Hot weather here so last night was on the pool. Woke up and just got back in.

We normally have collard greens and black eyed peas. Got the peas but the collards were a bust😏

I have my pork, sauerkraut and mashed potatoes. I still need my black eyed peas!! Hoping with luck I can retire by the end of this year.

Happy New Year everyone! I know you're supposed to eat sauerkraut and pork for luck. Well, I'm living dangerously. Can't stand the smell of sauerkraut. Don't know what I'll be eating. Probably a nice salad because I really overdid it with the sweets through the holidays.

Sharon, I just read about someone on Instagram who stated they ate 12 grapes right before midnight. That is so interesting...it's one tradition I had never heard of before. Do you know where it originated from?

I'm not sure but I think it is a Spanish tradition. We started this after my cousin married. Her husband is from Spain.

Okay I wasn't gonna bring it up, but I think I need to make this proposal of creating a separate topic involving random days being celebrated. I know some of you guys like it, but I would like to see this topic go back to us talking about what's going on in our lives and make a separate place to put in random holidays.

Again this is just a harmless suggestion and I'm not attacking anybody.

Don't know if this be the right place to put it, but a few years ago, I found a song that was featured as the theme music to a dramatized adaptation of the book series The Kurtherian Gambit by Michael Anderle and I come to find out that this song was featured in a stand-alone album featuring songs that were inspired by the book series. So my question is, would y'all be up for buying a soundtrack from the Eve Dallas/Roarke series?
