So far my favorite cosmere book is a tie between Words of Radiance and Tress. Two very different Sanderson books I know. However I still have so many more cosmere books to read this year!
lol part 2. To say why I love WoR is because I loved the development of Kaladin abilities and his relationships with my other favorite characters like Adolin and Dalinar. I also thought it expanded on the world so much and the ending was epic. I love Tress so far and as a lover of the Princess Bride I can see the comparisons between the two. It’s also very whimsical and quirky which I adore.
My favorite Cosmere book has to be The Way of Kings. I love all four of the SA novels so much and all seven of Mistborn as well. But for me the ending of book one of Stormlight was for me probably the best ending to a work of fiction that I have ever read. That scene? yeah, too many tears shed
I still need to finish the last two books of Stormlight before the next one comes out. I’ve only got the first two under my belt. But yes Way of Kings was brilliant!
If only I can forget Oathbringer and RoW and read them again! While I love the Way of Kings the most it's probably sentimental as it was the one introducing me to the SA, but technically, Oathbringer and RoW are both incredible and on the same level if not better than WoK. Make sure you savor the moments reading them!
Ohhh ok awesome that makes me excited for oathbringer and RoW! Way of Kings is definitely a book that was an absolute trip to read for the first time. I’ve actually read that one twice and nothing can compare to reading it the first time. Isn’t the fifth book supposed to come out this year?
You read WoK twice wow! very cool. I plan on doing that too but not any time soon. And yeah book 5 is coming at the end of this year and it's called Wind and Truth. Can't. Storming. Wait.
Yes so I originally read WoK about four years ago and I guess just wasn’t int he right mindset because while I loved the book I never continued the series. This past year my interest got sparked again and I decided to restart with WoK and I’m so so glad I did because the Cosmere is epic
I really wish Goodreads had a like feature or anything to react with other than writing I mean come on how easy would that be😃
My favorite is definitely Stomlight Archives. I just love the characters so much! My favorite book of them... that's a hard question. But the best Sanderlanch was in Rhythm of War, at least for me.
Even though Words of Radiance is a great contender, my choice is somewhere between The Final Empire and The Hero of Ages. I think they're both so full of content but so clingy at the same time.
WOK is my favorite, because it was the book that got me back into reading after high school and college. But I really loved the Sanderlanche of Oathbringer and that one scene in RoW. I'm really excited for Book 5 to come out!
Not the most famous opinion. But it's mine too! WoK is my favorite Cosmere book overall, I love the others to death but WoK will always have a special place
I first discovered Sanderson through Way of Kings a couple years ago and kind of a happy accident. Reread WOK about a year ago and recently finished ROW. So far WOK still my favorite with WoR a close second! Kaladin's story arc so amazing! His character is what drew me into the book. Despite his flaws, can't help rooting for him. Stormlight for me such a great series overall.

And yeah Stormlight is a special book series, one of the best ever really, and my favorite in the Cosmere, but did you read Mistborn?
My first introduction to the Cosmere came from the Way of Kings and the Stormlight Archive remains my favourite series in the Cosmere! I specifically love the characters and witnessing their growth and depth throughout the series. My favourite is definitely Kaladin.
