I just finished Olivia's section and I am hooked. This may be an older Nora, but it is just as good as anything she has written lately. I usually don't care for the slow build up, but she is developing these characters in a way she hasn't done with recent books where I have felt detached from her main characters.
This was a re-read for me. It was a favorite in my teens and it more or less withstood the test of time.As I already knew who the killer was, this aspect was not as suspenseful this time. Nevertheless, it was interesting to see this person's interactions with the other characters knowing now that they were the guilty party.
The baddie took me by surprise, but with such a limited pool from which to choose he was a good bet.
