Book 1En högre rättvisa by Michael Hjorth
Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️
Used for: ATY #1: A book with a title that ends in A, T or Y
Comment:
My first thought would be to find a book that fitted in both the English and Swedish title. Then I chose a book I felt like reading instead. Trying to finish book series I have started and now I only have two books left of this series (of the published ones).
Book 2Grismannen: ett fall för Viggo Sandberg by Martin Perk
Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️
Used for: ATY #2: A book connected to something you read in 2023
Comment:
Second book in a series of which I read the first book last year.
Book 3Bad Blood: Secrets and Lies in a Silicon Valley Startup by John Carreyrou
Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Used for: ATY #14 2023: A book with a con, deception, or fake
Comment:
Being in the pharma field myself I thought this book was really interesting.
Book 4The Elegance of the Hedgehog by Muriel Barbery
Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️
Used for: ATY #3: A book that fits a suggestion that didn´t make the final list
Comment:
The suggestion it fits that didn´t make the final list is A book with a child character. It has been for a long time on my TBR, I think I had quite high expectations on this book that weren´t fulfilled.
Book 5The Blue Between Sky and Water by Susan Abulhawa
Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Used for: ATY #4: A book related to something mentioned in the lyrics of What a Wonderful World by Louis Armstrong
Comment:
The book is chosen to fit the ATY prompt because of the text "I see skies of blue" in the lyrics of What a Wonderful World. The title of the book refers to the blue between sky and water and the edition that I read also had a blue sky.
Book 6Vårjakt i Rosengädda by Emma Hamberg
Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Used for: ATY #37: A book that is part of a series
Comment:
Third part of a series of feel-good books that I started reading last year.
Book 7The Summer Seaside Kitchen by Jenny Colgan
Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Used for: ATY #23 2023: A book with a body of water in the title
Comment:
Used for a remaining 2023 prompt, sea in both the Swedish and English title.
Book 8The Color Purple by Alice Walker
Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Used for: ATY #14: A book with a main character who is Black, Indigenous, or a Person of Color
Comment:
This book has been on my TBR for a while. I remember the movie from a long time ago but have never read the book.
Book 9The Paper Palace by Miranda Cowley Heller
Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Used for: ATY #24: A book with a secondary color on the cover (orange, green or purple)
Comment:
This book was chosen for my book club this month. So this time I had to look for a prompt that fitted in stead of choosing the book from the prompt. Look forward to the book club discussion though after finishing the book.
Book 10Grim by Sara Bergmark Elfgren
Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Used for: ATY #20: A book with a single word title
Comment:
First I was going to use the book for a prompt I had left for ATY 2022 A book with gothic elements but as I was looking through this yearä´s prompts I realized it fit A book with a single word title. I really enjoy this Swedish author and her young adult books with elements of ghost stories.
Book 11Migrations by Charlotte McConaghy
Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Used for: ATY #28: A book related to sea
Comment:
This book could fit multiple prompts but I choose to go for the related to sea prompt as the sea is central to the story. I really liked the book and got more captured the longer into the story I got. I was afraid I would think it was overrated as so many have talked positive about it.
Book 12Nightwork by Nora Roberts
Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️
Used for: ATY #18: A book with a botanical cover
Comment:
I received this book as a Christmas gift, not a book I would maybe buy myself as my first choice but it fitted quite well in for the mood I was in and perfectly with the botanical cover.
Book 13Lockfåglar: ett fall för Viggo Sandberg by Martin Perk
Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️
Used for: ATY #6: A book with wings on the cover

A series a friend of my brother is writing and now I have finished all books that are published so far in this series.
Book 14The Last Thing He Told Me by Laura Dave
Rating: ⭐️⭐️
Used for: ATY #25: A book involving a crime other than a murder
Comment:

Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Used for: ATY #10: A History or historical fiction book
Comment:

Book 16My Sister, the Serial Killer by Oyinkan Braithwaite
Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️
Used for: ATY #22: A book by an author from an African country
Comment:
Ran into this book on a book sale and realized it fitted for this prompt. I enjoyed the story telling and that it was a quick read.
Book 17Happy Place by Emily Henry
Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Used for: ATY #34: A book related to the name of one of Snow White´s seven dwarfs
Comment:
Got through quite a lot of emotions reading this book. As a colleague said to me when I came to work one day, the cover of the book make you happy
Book 18On Earth We're Briefly Gorgeous by Ocean Vuong
Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️
Used for: ATY #7: A book with a prenoun in the title
Comment:
I have heard so many positive comments and read positive reviews of this book so maybe I had a bit high expectations. I enjoyed the language of the book, it was very well written.
Book 19Walk the Blue Fields by Claire Keegan
Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️
Used for: ATY #45: A book that is not a novel
Comment:
A book with short stories read for my online book club. Not a book I might have chosen otherwise. I enjoyed some of the stories and it was well written but maybe not my cup of tea.
Book 20A Very Distant Shore by Jenny Colgan
Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️

A quick and easy read on the commuting train.
