January's book is One Afternoon by Siân James.

I will probably be starting this one next week.

Antoinette | 104 comments I’ll definitely be reading it but may be mid month. Looking forward to it.

Dianne, please feel free to suggest any books you have or have access to in the suggestions thread. I'll see if I can find something online for you.

Dianne | 43 comments I just found a copy! Arriving in a week or so so I'll join you then. I'll suggest a few Persephone that I have that we haven't read in the suggestions thread too, thanks for the idea!

Brilliant. I'm really keen to start this one, I just need to finish off a couple of books first.

I started last week, but have had so much on I haven't made it very far in. I have a day off today, so I'm hoping to spend some time with it.

I have been able to read a good chunk today.

I was a bit surprised at the headmasters reaction to Jane's situation; not sure that would wash nowadays, but on reading on, I thought it was probably right.

I love Anna's mother in law, would love to read more about her. She seems an i teresting character.

Antoinette | 104 comments I couldn’t sleep last night so read this book. It seems so different than other Persephone books when you start it- more modern. It is the 1970’s. I love Anna and her kids! And yes, now that I’ve met her mother in law her as well. More thoughts soon.
