Thanks for being interested in voting for a book. However, we have a rule that you must participate in a book discussion at least once a year in order to have your vote count. If South Riding wins and you participate in the discussion, you will be eligible to vote for a year!

My library does not carry it and there is not a copy in the larger consortium so it is not available through interlibrary loan either.

What discussion threads would you like South Riding?

Why don’t we do the usual opening discussion plus a spoiler thread? Unfortunately, I noted when I nominated it that March is such a crazy time for me that I can’t lead. Am building a giant database and my head won’t be above the waters till March 18 at the earliest. But I’ll see if I can dig up some links at least to info about the author and book.

Don't worry about leading or anything.

This gave me the idea of giving books that were nominated in 2023 (but lost), a second chance to be a winner.
You can go to the homepage and find the nominations thread. It is also found here: https://www.goodreads.com/topic/group....
You may select a book that didn't win from the January 2023 to the December 2023 nominations.
You can nominate up to two works. Please state whether or not you can lead the discussion.
Nominations will end the 15th. Please select works that have not been read by this group in the past 3 years. Here is the bookshelf link: https://www.goodreads.com/group/books....
Thanks!
