im going through a dark time rn, and i recently read 100 Days of Cake and I really liked it even though it was really sad, but it kinda make me feel not alone, so if you guys have any suggestions please let me know

you'd be home now is about addiction and loss and is just so sad I cried so many times reading it and I definitely recommend it if you want to feel like your not alone in your dark times.

ik its ya, but All the Bright Places was so sad I had to dnf because I genuinely couldn't stop crying. it broke my heart, and honestly destroyed my mental health.

I'm not sure how dark you want to go but if you want to venture away from YA, I would recommend reading

Mental health issues: Girl in Pieces (Kathleen Glasgow)- not the truest and best representation, but it's sad, The center cannot hold (memoir)

I’m currently reading The Perks of Being a Wallflower and so far it’s pretty good! I watched the movie and absolutely sobbed ( i dont cry often for movies) so i have some high hopes for the book
