I read this book sometime around 2012-2015, and it was about a girl who was a very good tennis player (or some kind of sport) and has a sport scholarship to go to college, and then one night she gets hit by a car and gets left with a permanent limp from it. The guy who hit her goes to juvie and the book starts when he comes back home. I think it was first-person duel pov. They sort of dance around each other for a while with typical high school drama, and then at the end it turns out that it was actually the guy's sister who was driving the car and hit the girl. I also remember this one crushing scene where the girl gets a letter from the college telling her that her changed circumstances means she no longer qualifies for the scholarship and has lost it. Thanks!

Yes! Thanks Kris! I can't believe I didn't link it; I was just recently thinking about her Perfect Chemistry series and obviously from there I went on to read some of her other books.
You're welcome! Glad you found your book, Ella.
