The compromise is clearly not the fault of Elizabeth or Darcy, so they both start out attempting to make the best of their marriage, and succeed. They meet with some opposition from Darcy's family, but not the ones you might expect. I enjoyed all the twists and turns this story took, and liked nearly all of the characters.
The author has another P&P story on FFN called Damage of Deceit that looks interesting. Unfortunately, it hasn't been updated since May 2022.

Last year I logged 244 books, plus a lot of reading on fan fiction boards, plus books that never got logged. This year I'll also log the fan fiction boards so my totals won't look that different, even though I'll actually read less JAFF.
ps Why sailing? Being lost in a book is much like the wonderful feeling of being out on a lake.
