in a lot of books, atleast on of the straight male roommates would have been written as a creep for story purposes so honestly I was pleasantly surprised both of them were decent and all round nice guys.Brett , i knew was gonna come back into the story. Im at the point where he has and im looking forward to see it play out
I knew Brett was a bad guy and going to play a part in Allison's future. I agree with Xeey, I liked that the other roommates were decent guys.
I liked the other two also. They really had her back...without any sexual involvement (another nice change). Friends for the sake of being friends. I also expected Brett would return as the snake in the grass he was.
I also liked both of her roommates. Dan especially took on the role of brother and tried to protect her from Brett and her family. I liked the way they were written.Brett was bad news from the moment he moved in. Allison knew his skills were limited, yet he continually ran his mouth about how great he was. At first, I thought he might sabotage her schoolwork just to make himself look better, but what he did was worse.
My thoughts are that Allison might have had a relationship with the roommates if she had indicated she was interested, especially Dan. I think it's really cool that they respected her boundary. Sounded like they had girlfriends anyway?I did not see Brett as a real threat until the end.
