What did Agent Phillips order Allison to wear to keep track of her? What other suggestions did he have? What reason did he give for wanting to always track her? Was this ethical? Thoughts? Would you have complied? Why or why not?

Phillips never came out and told Allison just how valuable an asset she really was, and it didn't appear Allison understood how valuable she was either. I thought the silver bracelet with the tracking device was a great idea and I was disappointed that it never became a plot point.

Anita, you are so totally right! I also thought it would become a plot point. But Garwood is great at leading the reader all over the place. Not so great with the foreshadowing.

I posted on another question that the tracking bracelet really pissed me off and I was pissed at Allison for agreeing to wear it. Then she went into the office one night with Liam and Phillips was there and they were talking about her and I realized that Phillips was worried about her. After he came through for her when she was run off the road, my respect for Philips grew.

We are left to wonder if the call that brought her into work that night was really from a coworker or if it was from someone Brett put up to it. There were many loose threads in this book.

I couldn't believe that Allison agreed to wear a tracking bracelet that couldn't be removed. Maybe if Phillips had explained the situation to her and tell her that he was worried about her safety, it might have made sense. But no, the men have to keep the women in the dark and never tell them their reasoning for requests like this.

I also was upset about the tracking bracelet and the fact that she couldn't take it off and that she broke down and agreed to wear the thing. I also agree that if I'd known it was partly out of worry for her, I'd have been more accepting to it.

I agree. It was like these men didn't trust Allison to accept their desire to keep her safe. A truthful conversation would be nice.

I agree that Allison rolled way to quickly on the tracking bracelet. It would have made me feel like a criminal and maybe that is why Allison accepted it so readily - she felt like a criminal and felt she deserved to be tracked. She didn't have any idea it was truly for her safety.
